越至於今、年少於我者、反加訕笑、彼之父兄、自我視之、比之守羊之犬、不若也。

今也年少於我者訕笑我、其人之祖父、自我視之、不堪與守我群羊之犬同處、

“ But now they mock me, men younger than I, whose fathers I would have disdained to put with my sheep dogs.

我这求告神、蒙他应允的人竟成了朋友所讥笑的；又公义又完全的人竟遭受讥笑。

对他们说：“你们解这人到我这里，说他是煽惑百姓的。看哪，我也曾在你们面前审问他，并没有查出这人犯过你们控告他的任何罪；

他们给他穿上紫袍，又用荆棘编了冠冕给他戴上，然后向他致敬，说：“万岁，犹太人的王！”他们又拿一根芦苇秆打他的头，向他吐唾沫，屈膝拜他。他们戏弄完了，就给他脱了紫袍，又穿上他自己的衣服，带他出去，要把他钉十字架。

于是有人开始向他吐唾沫，又蒙着他的脸，用拳头打他，对他说：“你说预言吧！”警卫把他拉过来，打他耳光。

我在患难中，他们却欢喜，大家聚集，我所不认识的卑贱人聚集攻击我，他们不住地撕裂我。他们试探我，不断嘲笑我，向我咬牙切齿。

但不信的犹太人心里嫉妒，聚集了些市井流氓，搭伙成群，煽动全城的人闯进耶孙的家，要把保罗和西拉带到民众那里。

以利沙从那里上伯特利去。正上路的时候，有些孩童从城里出来，讥笑他，对他说：“秃头的，上去吧！秃头的，上去吧！”

百姓站在那里观看。官长也嘲笑他，说：“他救了别人，他若是基督，是神所拣选的，救救他自己吧！”

同钉的犯人中有一个讥笑他，说：“你不是基督吗？救救你自己和我们吧！”

坐在城门口的谈论我，酒徒也以我为歌曲。

众人却一齐喊着说：“除掉这个人！释放巴拉巴给我们！”

克里特人中有一个本地的先知说：“克里特人常说谎话，是恶兽，贪吃懒做。”

“他把我的兄弟隔在远处，使我认识的人全然与我生疏。我的亲戚都离开了我；我的密友都忘记了我。在我家寄居的和我的使女，都当我是陌生人；我在他们眼中被视为外邦人。我呼唤仆人，他却不回答；我必须亲口求他。我口的气味令我妻子厌恶，我的同胞都憎恶我。连小男孩也藐视我；我起来，他们都嘲笑我。我的知心朋友都憎恶我；我平日所爱的人向我翻脸。

年轻人见我而回避，老年人起身站立。王子都停止说话，用手捂口；领袖静默无声，舌头贴住上膛。

百姓要彼此欺压，各人欺压邻舍；青年要侮慢老人，卑贱的要侮慢尊贵的。
