上帝救贖我魂、免入坑坎、我之生命、復睹光明、

主援我、免於死亡、復睹光明。

天主救贖我生、生或作靈免入塚墓、救贖我命、俾睹光明、

God has delivered me from going down to the pit, and I shall live to enjoy the light of life.’

God has set me free. He has kept me from going down into the darkness of the grave. So I’ll live to enjoy the light of life.’

He has redeemed my soul from going down into the pit, and my life shall look upon the light.’

God rescued me from the grave, and now my life is filled with light.’

神就施恩給他，說：『要救贖他免得下入地府，我已經得了贖價。

我為何不像流產的胎兒被埋藏，如同未見光的嬰孩？

願那夜黎明的星宿變為黑暗，盼亮卻不亮，也不見晨曦破曉；

他的性命臨近地府，他的生命挨近滅命者。

神啊，你必使惡人墜入滅亡的坑；那好流人血、行詭詐的人必活不過半生，但我要倚靠你。

在黑暗中行走的百姓看見了大光；住在死蔭之地的人有光照耀他們。

耶穌回答：「白天不是有十二小時嗎？人若在白天行走，就不致跌倒，因為他看見這世上的光。

求你不容波濤漫過我，不容深淵吞滅我，不容深坑在我以上合口。

他仍必與歷代的祖宗一樣同歸死亡，永不見光。

以致生命厭棄食物，心中厭惡美味。

你定意要做何事，必然為你成就；亮光也必照耀你的路。

「遭受患難的人為何有光賜給他呢？心中愁苦的人為何有生命賜給他呢？

看哪，我受大苦是為使我得平安；你愛我，救我的性命脫離敗壞的地府，將我一切的罪扔在你背後。原來，陰間不能稱謝你，死亡不能頌揚你，下到地府的人也不能盼望你的信實。

攔阻人不陷入地府，不讓他命喪刀下。

這盼望要下到陰間的門閂嗎？要一起在塵土中安息嗎？」

我又看見一位天使從天降下，手裏拿着無底坑的鑰匙和一條大鐵鏈。他抓住那龍，那古蛇，就是魔鬼、撒但，把牠捆綁了一千年，扔在無底坑裏，把無底坑關閉，用印封上，使牠不再迷惑列國，等到那一千年滿了。這些事以後，牠必須暫時被釋放。
