然造化之主上帝、使人於患難中謳歌逸樂、俾其明理、靈於禽獸、何以籲呼求救者、世無一人、

獨不尋求造人之天主、原文作惟無人云造我之天主安在不念天主能使人夜間歡呼、

But no one says,‘ Where is God my Maker, who gives songs in the night,

But no one says,‘ Where is the God who made me? He gives us songs even during the night.

But none says,‘ Where is God my Maker, who gives songs in the night,

Yet they don’t ask,‘ Where is God my Creator, the one who gives songs in the night?

But no one asks,“ Where is God my Maker, who provides us with songs in the night,

But no one says,‘ Where is God my Maker, Who gives songs in the night,

But none saith, Where is God my Maker, Who giveth songs in the night,

But no one asks,“ Where is God my Maker, who provides us with songs in the night,

But none saith, Where[ is] God my maker, who giveth songs in the night;

But no one says,‘ Where is God, my Creator, who gives songs in the night,

But no one says,‘ Where is God my Maker, who gives songs in the night,

Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds.

But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them.

The Lord will command His lovingkindness in the daytime, And in the night His song shall be with me— A prayer to the God of my life.

And you forget the Lord your Maker, Who stretched out the heavens And laid the foundations of the earth; You have feared continually every day Because of the fury of the oppressor, When he has prepared to destroy. And where is the fury of the oppressor?

Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth, Before the difficult days come, And the years draw near when you say,“ I have no pleasure in them”:

They will pass through it hard-pressed and hungry; and it shall happen, when they are hungry, that they will be enraged and curse their king and their God, and look upward.

So Saul died for his unfaithfulness which he had committed against the Lord, because he did not keep the word of the Lord, and also because he consulted a medium for guidance.But he did not inquire of the Lord; therefore He killed him, and turned the kingdom over to David the son of Jesse.

For I do not know how to flatter, Else my Maker would soon take me away.

Will he delight himself in the Almighty? Will he always call on God?

I will fetch my knowledge from afar; I will ascribe righteousness to my Maker.

Now in the time of his distress King Ahaz became increasingly unfaithful to the Lord. At midnight I will rise to give thanks to You, Because of Your righteous judgments.
