Do you think it is just when you say,“ I am righteous before God”?

“你以为有理，或以为你的公义胜于神的公义，

“你以为这话有理，说：‘我在上帝面前是公义的。’

“你以为这话有理，说：‘我在神面前是公义的。’

“你在上帝面前自以为义，你认为这合理吗？

“你说：‘我在神面前更显为义’，你自以为这话有理吗？

你以為有理，或以為你的公義勝於神的公義，

「你以為這話有理，說：『我在上帝面前是公義的。』

「你以為這話有理，說：『我在神面前是公義的。』

「你在上帝面前自以為義，你認為這合理嗎？

“你說：‘我在神面前更顯為義’，你自以為這話有理嗎？

『你以為這樣說有理，你才說：「我的正義勝於上帝」；

爾以為有理、自謂我之義、愈於上帝之義乎、

爾於上帝前、自稱為義、爾又言、雖不犯罪、亦無所裨、斯言也、豈合乎理。

爾於天主前、自稱為義、或作爾言我義於天主又言我不犯罪亦何所裨、較犯罪有何所益、爾以為此言合乎理乎、

“ Do you think this is just? You say,‘ I am in the right, not God.’

“ Job, do you think it’s fair for you to say,‘ I am the one who is right, not God’?

“ Do you think this to be just? Do you say,‘ It is my right before God,’

“ Do you think it is right for you to claim,‘ I am righteous before God’?

“ Do you think this is in accordance with justice? Do you say,‘ My righteousness is more than God’s’?

“ Do you think this is right? Do you say,‘ My righteousness is more than God’s’?

Thinkest thou this to be thy right, Or sayest thou, My righteousness is more than God’s,

Do you think it is just when you say,“ I am righteous before God”?

Thinkest thou this to be right,[ that] thou saidst, My righteousness[ is] more than God’s?

“ Do you think this to be just: when you say,‘ My right before God.’

“ Do you think this to be your right, or do you say,‘ My righteousness is more than God’s,’

I tell you that on the day of judgment people will have to account for every careless word they speak.For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.”

He batters me with a whirlwind and multiplies my wounds without cause.

then understand that it is God who has wronged me and caught me in his net.I cry out,“ Violence!” but get no response; I call for help, but there is no justice.

Would you really challenge my justice? Would you declare me guilty to justify yourself?

although my hands are free from violence and my prayer is pure.

“ He told him,‘ I will condemn you by what you have said, you evil servant! If you knew I was a harsh man, collecting what I didn’t deposit and reaping what I didn’t sow,

even though you know that I am not wicked and that there is no one who can rescue from your power?

As God lives, who has deprived me of justice, and the Almighty who has made me bitter,as long as my breath is still in me and the breath from God remains in my nostrils,my lips will not speak unjustly, and my tongue will not utter deceit.I will never affirm that you are right. I will maintain my integrity until I die.I will cling to my righteousness and never let it go. My conscience will not accuse me as long as I live!

For Job has declared,“ I am righteous, yet God has deprived me of justice.
