How great is God— beyond our understanding! The number of his years is past finding out.

How great God is! We’ll never completely understand him. We’ll never find out how long he has lived.

Behold, God is great, and we know him not; the number of his years is unsearchable.

The Almighty is beyond our reach and exalted in power; in his justice and great righteousness, he does not oppress. (niv)

So I said:“ Do not take me away, my God, in the midst of my days; your years go on through all generations.In the beginning you laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands.They will perish, but you remain; they will all wear out like a garment. Like clothing you will change them and they will be discarded.But you remain the same, and your years will never end. (niv)

Are your days like those of a mortal or your years like those of a strong man, (niv)

But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. (niv)

And these are but the outer fringe of his works; how faint the whisper we hear of him! Who then can understand the thunder of his power?” (niv)
