That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, that the wicked might be shaken out of it?

叫这光普照地的四极，将恶人从其中驱逐出来吗？

抓住地的四极，把恶人从其中驱逐出来吗？

使阳光普照大地，抖出藏匿的恶人？

叫这光照遍大地的四极，把恶人从那里抖掉呢？

叫這光普照地的四極，將惡人從其中驅逐出來嗎？

抓住地的四極，把惡人從其中驅逐出來嗎？

抓住地的四極，把惡人從其中驅逐出來嗎？

使陽光普照大地，抖出藏匿的惡人？

叫這光照遍大地的四極，把惡人從那裡抖掉呢？

叫亮光抓住地的四角，將惡人抖掉呢？

俾光燭照四極、驅逐惡人、

地之四極、輝光既布、宵小匿跡、

曾命光明普照地之四極、使地上惡人咸藏匿乎、

that it might take the earth by the edges and shake the wicked out of it?

The daylight takes the earth by its edges as if it were a blanket. Then it shakes sinful people out of it.

that it might take hold of the skirts of the earth, and the wicked be shaken out of it?

Have you made daylight spread to the ends of the earth, to bring an end to the night’s wickedness?

so it may seize the edges of the earth and shake the wicked out of it?

So that it would take hold of the ends of the earth, And the wicked would be shaken off from it?

Let the sinners be consumed out of the earth, and let the wicked be no more. Bless thou the LORD, O my soul. Praise ye the LORD.

Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,Which[ is] as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber,[ and] rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.His going forth[ is] from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.

They are of those that rebel against the light; they know not the ways thereof, nor abide in the paths thereof.The murderer rising with the light killeth the poor and needy, and in the night is as a thief.The eye also of the adulterer waiteth for the twilight, saying, No eye shall see me: and disguiseth[ his] face.In the dark they dig through houses,[ which] they had marked for themselves in the daytime: they know not the light.For the morning[ is] to them even as the shadow of death: if[ one] know[ them, they are in] the terrors of the shadow of death.
