『亮光之住處、其路在哪裏？黑暗呢、其地方在哪裏？

光之居所、何由而至、暗之處所安在、

光在何方、暗在何所、爾豈識其途、能導人造其境乎。

光明之所居、由何路可至、晦冥之宅、又在何處、

“ What is the way to the abode of light? And where does darkness reside?

“ Where does light come from? And where does darkness live?

“ Where is the way to the dwelling of light, and where is the place of darkness,

“ Where does light come from, and where does darkness go?

Where is the road to the home of light? Do you know where darkness lives,

“ Where is the way to the dwelling of light? And darkness, where is its place,

“ Where is the way to the dwelling of light? And darkness, where is its place,

Where is the way to the dwelling of light? And as for darkness, where is the place thereof,

Where is the road to the home of light? Do you know where darkness lives,

Where[ is] the way[ where] light dwelleth? and[ as for] darkness, where[ is] the place thereof,

“ In what direction does light reside, and darkness, where is its place,

“ What is the way to the dwelling of light? As for darkness, where is its place,

The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world. (niv)

All the shining lights in the heavens I will darken over you; I will bring darkness over your land, declares the Sovereign Lord. (niv)

When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said,“ I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” (niv)

“ Have you ever given orders to the morning, or shown the dawn its place,that it might take the earth by the edges and shake the wicked out of it? (niv)

He made darkness his covering, his canopy around him— the dark rain clouds of the sky. (niv)

I form the light and create darkness, I bring prosperity and create disaster; I, the Lord, do all these things. (niv)

He who forms the mountains, who creates the wind, and who reveals his thoughts to mankind, who turns dawn to darkness, and treads on the heights of the earth— the Lord God Almighty is his name. (niv)

Give glory to the Lord your God before he brings the darkness, before your feet stumble on the darkening hills. You hope for light, but he will turn it to utter darkness and change it to deep gloom. (niv)
