Then the Lord spoke to Job out of the storm:

那時，耶和華從旋風中回答約伯說：

我們的神要來，絕不閉口；有烈火在他面前吞滅，有暴風在他四圍颳起。他呼召上天下地，為要審判他的子民：

但主的日子要像賊一樣來到；那日，天必在轟然一聲中消失，天體都要被烈火熔化，地和地上的萬物都要燒盡。既然這一切都要如此消失，你們處世為人必須聖潔敬虔，等候並催促神的日子來到。因為在那日，天要被火燒而消滅，天體都要被烈火熔化。

你們不是來到那可觸摸的山，那裏有火焰、密雲、黑暗、暴風、角聲，和說話的聲音；當時那些聽見這聲音的，都求不要再向他們說話，因為他們擔當不起所命令他們的話，說：「靠近這山的，即使是走獸，也要用石頭打死。」
