But if you earnestly seek God and ask the Almighty for mercy,

你若殷勤地寻求神，向全能者恳求；

你若切切寻求上帝，向全能者恳求；

你若殷勤寻求神，向全能者恳求；

你若殷勤地尋求神，向全能者懇求；

你若切切尋求上帝，向全能者懇求；

但你若尋求上帝，向全能者懇求；

你若殷勤尋求神，向全能者懇求；

你若迫切尋求上帝，而向全能者懇求；

爾若勤求上帝、祈於全能者、

如爾勤求上帝、乞恩於全能之主、

爾若尋求天主、向全能之主祈恩、

But if you will seek God earnestly and plead with the Almighty,

But seek God with all your heart. Make your appeal to the Mighty One.

If you will seek God and plead with the Almighty for mercy,

But if you pray to God and seek the favor of the Almighty,

If you will search for God And implore the compassion of the Almighty,

If you would earnestly seek God And make your supplication to the Almighty,

If thou wouldest seek diligently unto God, And make thy supplication to the Almighty;

But if you earnestly seek God and ask the Almighty for mercy,

If thou wouldest seek unto God betimes, and make thy supplication to the Almighty;

But if you will look to God, and make your supplication to the Almighty,

If you want to seek God diligently, make your supplication to the Almighty.

As for you, if you redirect your heart and spread out your hands to him in prayer—

Therefore, submit to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.Be miserable and mourn and weep. Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom.Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you.

Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says: Today, if you hear his voice,do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion, on the day of testing in the wilderness,

“ Ask, and it will be given to you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and the door will be opened to you.For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.

However, if I were you, I would appeal to God and would present my case to him.

Seek the LORD while he may be found; call to him while he is near.Let the wicked one abandon his way and the sinful one his thoughts; let him return to the LORD, so he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will freely forgive.

Come to terms with God and be at peace; in this way good will come to you.Receive instruction from his mouth, and place his sayings in your heart.If you return to the Almighty, you will be renewed. If you banish injustice from your tentand consign your gold to the dust, the gold of Ophir to the stones in the wadis,the Almighty will be your gold and your finest silver.Then you will delight in the Almighty and lift up your face to God.You will pray to him, and he will hear you, and you will fulfill your vows.When you make a decision, it will be carried out, and light will shine on your ways.When others are humiliated and you say,“ Lift them up,” God will save the humble.He will even rescue the guilty one, who will be rescued by the purity of your hands.

When he was in distress, he sought the favor of the LORD his God and earnestly humbled himself before the God of his ancestors.He prayed to him, and the LORD was receptive to his prayer. He granted his request and brought him back to Jerusalem, to his kingdom. So Manasseh came to know that the LORD is God.
