Then the LORD commanded the fish and it disgorged Jonah on dry land.

And the Lord commanded the fish, and it vomited Jonah onto dry land.

The Lord gave the fish a command. And it spit Jonah up onto dry land.

And the Lord spoke to the fish, and it vomited Jonah out upon the dry land.

Then the Lord ordered the fish to spit Jonah out onto the beach.

Then the LORD commanded the fish, and it vomited Jonah onto dry land.

And Jehovah spake unto the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry land.

Then Yahweh spoke to the fish, and it vomited out Jonah on the dry land.

God said,“ Let there be light.” And there was light!

But he said to them,“ Why are you cowardly, you people of little faith?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and it was dead calm.And the men were amazed and said,“ What sort of person is this? Even the winds and the sea obey him!”

( 2: 1) The LORD sent a huge fish to swallow Jonah, and Jonah was in the stomach of the fish three days and three nights.

But the centurion replied,“ Lord, I am not worthy to have you come under my roof. Instead, just say the word and my servant will be healed.For I too am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I say to this one,‘ Go’ and he goes, and to another‘ Come’ and he comes, and to my slave‘ Do this’ and he does it.”

Why does no one challenge me when I come? Why does no one respond when I call? Is my hand too weak to deliver you? Do I lack the power to rescue you? Look, with a mere shout I can dry up the sea; I can turn streams into a desert, so the fish rot away and die from lack of water.

God said,“ Let the land produce vegetation: plants yielding seeds according to their kinds, and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds.” It was so.

So God made the expanse and separated the water under the expanse from the water above it. It was so.

For he spoke, and it came into existence, he issued the decree, and it stood firm.

He ordered locusts to come, innumerable grasshoppers.

He ordered flies to come; gnats invaded their whole territory.

God said,“ Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them be signs to indicate seasons and days and years,

God said,“ Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place and let dry ground appear.” It was so.
