To the roots of the mountains I sank down; the earth beneath barred me in forever. But you, Lord my God, brought my life up from the pit.

大山未曾奠定，小山未有之先，我已出生。那时，他还没有创造大地和田野，并世上头一撮尘土。他立高天，我在那里，他在渊面的周围划出圆圈，上使穹苍坚硬，下使渊源稳固，为沧海定出范围，使水不越过界限，奠定大地的根基。

因为你必不将我的灵魂撇在阴间，也不让你的圣者见地府。

谁曾用手心量诸水，用手虎口量苍天，用升斗盛大地的尘土，用秤称山岭，用天平称冈陵呢？

神啊，你必使恶人坠入灭亡的坑；那好流人血、行诡诈的人必活不过半生，但我要倚靠你。

诸山上升，诸谷下沉，归你为它所立定之地。

耶和华啊，求你速速应允我！我的心神耗尽！求你不要转脸不顾我，免得我像那些下入地府的人一样。

你既以大能束腰，就用力量安定诸山，

神就施恩给他，说：‘要救赎他免得下入地府，我已经得了赎价。

神已经向我们这些作他们儿女的应验，使耶稣复活了。正如《诗篇》第二篇上记着：‘你是我的儿子，我今日生了你。’论到神使他从死人中复活，不再归于朽坏，他曾这样说：‘我必将所应许大卫那圣洁、可靠的恩典赐给你们。’所以他也在另一篇说：‘你必不让你的圣者见朽坏。’大卫在世的时候，遵行了神的旨意就长眠了，归到他祖宗那里，已见朽坏；惟独神使他复活的那一位，他并未见朽坏。

“我被害流血，下到地府，有何益处呢？尘土岂能称谢你、传扬你的信实吗？

“我立大地根基的时候，你在哪里？你若明白事理，只管说吧！你知道是谁定地的尺度，是谁把准绳拉在其上吗？地的根基安置在何处？地的角石是谁安放的？那时，晨星一同歌唱；神的众使者也都欢呼。“当海水冲出，如出母胎，谁用门将它关闭呢？是我用云彩当海的衣服，用幽暗当包裹它的布，为它定界限，又安门和闩，说：‘你只可到这里，不可越过；你狂傲的浪要到此止住。’

因为我的怒火焚烧，直烧到极深的阴间，吞噬地和地的出产，连山的根基也烧着了。

他站立，震动大地，他观看，震动列国。永久的山崩裂，长存的岭塌陷，他的作为与古时一样。

你用深水遮盖地面，犹如衣裳；诸水高过山岭。

山岭见你，无不战抖；大水泛滥而过，深渊发声，汹涌翻腾。

神救赎我的性命免入地府，我的生命也必见光。’
