「你們要牢記耶和華的僕人摩西吩咐你們的話，他說你們的上帝耶和華要把約旦河東面的土地賜給你們，讓你們安居。

“你们要追念耶和华的仆人摩西所吩咐你们的话说：‘耶和华你们的神使你们得享平安，也必将这地赐给你们。’

“你们要记得耶和华的仆人摩西所吩咐你们的话说：‘耶和华—你们的上帝使你们得享安宁，必将这地赐给你们。’

“你们要记得耶和华的仆人摩西所吩咐你们的话说：‘耶和华—你们的神使你们得享安宁，必将这地赐给你们。’

『你們要記得永恆主的僕人摩西所吩咐你們的話、說：「永恆主你們的上帝把你們安頓好了，就必將這地賜給你們。」

爾當追念耶和華僕摩西諭爾之言云、爾上帝耶和華既已錫爾綏安、亦必錫爾斯土、

曰耶和華之僕摩西、所言當憶勿忘、其言曰、爾上帝耶和華以斯地錫爾、畀爾綏安、

當追念主之僕摩西所諭爾之言云、主爾之天主之已賜安於爾、以斯地賜爾、

“ Remember the command that Moses the servant of the Lord gave you after he said,‘ The Lord your God will give you rest by giving you this land.’

“ Remember what Moses, the servant of the Lord, commanded you. He said,‘ The Lord your God is giving you this land. It’s a place where you can make your homes and live in peace and rest.’

“ Remember the word that Moses the servant of the Lord commanded you, saying,‘ The Lord your God is providing you a place of rest and will give you this land.’

“ Remember what Moses, the servant of the Lord, commanded you:‘ The Lord your God is giving you a place of rest. He has given you this land.’

“ Remember what Moses the LORD’s servant commanded you when he said,‘ The LORD your God will give you rest, and he will give you this land.’

“ Remember the word which Moses the servant of the Lord commanded you, saying,‘ The Lord your God is giving you rest, and will give you this land.’

“ Remember the word which Moses the servant of Yahweh commanded you, saying,‘ Yahweh your God gives you rest, and will give you this land.

摩西說：「如果你們信守承諾，拿起兵器在耶和華面前出戰，你們全軍就要在耶和華面前渡過約旦河，直到祂趕走祂面前的仇敵，征服那地方。之後，你們才可以回家，才算在耶和華和以色列人面前盡了自己的責任，這地方就在耶和華面前歸給你們作產業。但如果你們不守承諾，就是得罪耶和華，必難逃懲罰。你們現在去為家人築城邑，為牛羊建圍欄吧，但別忘了信守承諾。」迦得和呂便的子孫對摩西說：「僕人們一定遵命而行。我們的妻子、孩子、牛羊等牲畜都會留在基列的各城。僕人當中所有能上陣打仗的人都會照你的吩咐在耶和華面前過河作戰。」於是，摩西對以利亞撒祭司、嫩的兒子約書亞和以色列各支派的族長說：

「那時我吩咐他們，『你們的上帝耶和華已經把這些地方賜給你們，但你們所有的戰士必須帶著兵器過河，做同胞的先鋒。我知道你們有許多牲畜，你們的妻子、兒女和牲畜可以留在我分給你們的城邑。等你們的上帝耶和華使其他以色列人和你們一樣有了安身之所，佔領了耶和華賜給他們的約旦河西之地後，你們才可以返回我分給你們的家園。』

約書亞召來了呂便、迦得和瑪拿西半個支派的人來，對他們說：「你們都遵守了耶和華的僕人摩西的一切吩咐，也遵守了我的一切吩咐。這些日子以來，你們從沒有離棄自己的弟兄，遵守了你們的上帝耶和華的吩咐。現在你們的上帝耶和華已經照祂的應許使你們的弟兄安居，你們可以回到約旦河東，到摩西賜給你們作產業的地方。
