So Joshua conquered the entire region— the hill country, the entire Negev, the whole area around the town of Goshen, the western foothills, the Jordan Valley, the mountains of Israel, and the Galilean foothills.

『你要吩咐以色列人說：你們進了迦南地，這就是落歸你們為產業之地、按它的界線所包括的迦南地。你們的南面要從尋的曠野、貼着以東的邊緣；你們的南界要從東方鹽海的儘南邊起；你們的界線要轉到亞克拉濱坡的南邊，經過了尋，其終點是加低斯巴尼亞的南邊，又出到哈薩亞達，過到押們；你們的界線要從押們轉到埃及小河，其終點是大海。『西界呢、你們有大海和海岸；這要做你們的西界。『以下要做你們的北界：要從大海畫到何珥山；從何珥山畫到哈馬口；這界線的終點是西達達；界線又出到西斐崙，其終點是哈薩以難；這要做你們的北界。『你們要畫東界線，從哈薩以難到示番。這界線要從示番下到利比拉、在亞延東邊；這界線要下去，直迫基尼烈湖的阪坡東邊。這界線要下到約但河，其終點是鹽海。以上要做你們的地、按它四圍的界線所包括的。』摩西吩咐以色列人說：『這是你們要憑拈鬮承受為業的地，是永恆主吩咐給予九個半支派的；

和北方山地、基尼烈南邊的亞拉巴、低原、跟西邊的拿法多珥那些王，

是在以色列高地的山上我要移植它的，好使它發枝條生果子，成為莊嚴秀麗的香柏樹；各種羽族各樣鳥兒都可以棲宿於其下，棲宿於它枝子的蔭影下。

『但你們呢、以色列眾山哪，你們必發枝條結果子給我人民以色列，因為他們將近來到了。

全地、以法蓮、瑪拿西之地、猶大全地、直到西海、南地、和那一片平原、就是棕樹城耶利哥的峽谷、直到瑣珥、都指給他看。

『人子啊，你要對以色列眾山傳神言，說：以色列的山哪，你們要聽永恆主的話。主永恆主這麼說：因為仇敵譏刺你們說：「啊哈！」「這古老的荒丘都給我們擁有為基業了」，所以你要傳神言說：主永恆主這麼說：因為敵人真地使你們淒涼，四圍蹂躪你們，要使你們歸於其餘的外國人為業，被鼓舌傷人者的嘴和暴民的讒誹所取笑；

在約但河西邊、在山地、低原、和對着利巴嫩山、儘沿大海一帶所有的王、就是赫人、亞摩利人、迦南人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人的王、一聽見了，

就在那一天，永恆主就同亞伯蘭立了約說：『這地我已經給了你的後裔了：就是從埃及河直到大河、就是伯拉河、那一帶：就是基尼人、基尼洗人、甲摩尼人、赫人、比利洗人、高身漢種的人、亞摩利人、迦南人、革迦撒人、耶布斯人、之地。』
