( from the Shihor, which is east of Egypt, northward to the boundary of Ekron, it is counted as Canaanite; there are five rulers of the Philistines, those of Gaza, Ashdod, Ashkelon, Gath, and Ekron), and those of the Avvim,

and the larger territory of the Canaanites, extending from the stream of Shihor on the border of Egypt, northward to the boundary of Ekron. It includes the territory of the five Philistine rulers of Gaza, Ashdod, Ashkelon, Gath, and Ekron. The land of the Avvites

“你把以下指示告诉以色列人。“你们进入赐给你们作产业的迦南后，你们四境的疆界如下。“南部疆界从荀旷野沿着以东边界延伸，东起死海的尽头，往南至亚克拉滨坡南面，经荀直到加低斯·巴尼亚南面，再延伸至哈萨·亚达，经押们，转向埃及河，直到地中海。“西部以地中海为界。“北部疆界从地中海开始直到何珥山，再到哈马口，经西达达、西斐仑直到哈萨·以难。“东部疆界从哈萨·以难一直划到示番，往南到亚延东面的利比拉，再往南到基尼烈湖东岸。然后沿约旦河南下直到死海。这是你们国土四面的疆界。”摩西又对以色列人说：“这就是耶和华吩咐用抽签的方式分给你们九个半支派的土地。吕便支派和迦得支派已经按着宗族得到了他们的土地，玛拿西半个支派也得到了土地。

那五个非利士首领看见了这一切后，就在当天回以革伦去了。非利士人献给耶和华的金毒疮是分别为亚实突、迦萨、亚实基伦、迦特和以革伦赔罪的。

迦萨必被抛弃，亚实基伦必沦为废墟，亚实突的居民必在中午被赶走，以革伦必被连根拔除。住在海边的基利提人啊，你们有祸了！非利士人的土地——迦南啊，耶和华宣告要毁灭你，使你杳无人烟。

迦南生长子西顿和次子赫，他的后代还有耶布斯人、亚摩利人、革迦撒人、希未人、亚基人、西尼人、亚瓦底人、洗玛利人和哈马人。后来迦南各宗族散居在各地。迦南的疆域从西顿向基拉耳延伸，远至迦萨，再向所多玛、蛾摩拉、押玛、洗扁延伸，远至拉沙。
