於是摩西伸手於海上、主使東風大吹、飄揚終夜、使海水退、海中如陸地而水分析、以色列人行於海中、如行陸地、水壁立其左右、伊及人法老一切車馬軍騎、皆追之入海、天將旦時、主自雲柱火柱中、俯視伊及軍、亂其隊伍、脫其車輪、使之難行、伊及人曰、耶和華代以色列人攻我儕、不如避之而遁、主諭摩西曰、爾伸手於海上、使海水復合、淹沒伊及人與其車馬軍騎、摩西即伸手於海上、既旦、海水復翻騰、或作水合如故伊及人迎水奔馳、主乃投伊及人於海中、海水回流、淹沒追以色列人入海之法老車馬全軍、靡有孑遺、以色列人行於海中、如行陸地、水壁立其左右、當是日、主拯以色列人脫於伊及人手、以色列人目睹伊及人之屍浮於海濱、以色列人見主向伊及人所施之大能、或作向伊及人所行之大事遂敬畏主、信服主與主之僕摩西、

希實本王西宏不容我過其地、因主爾之天主使其心意頑梗剛愎、致付於爾手、有如今日之事、時、主諭我曰、我今日以西宏及其地付於爾、爾據其地、始得地為業、於是西宏帥其眾民、出以敵我、至耶哈斯與我戰、主我之天主、付之於我儕、我儕擊之、及其諸子眾民、當時我儕取其諸邑、以諸邑之民、男女以及嬰孩、盡行殲滅、一無所遺、惟牲畜及邑中貨財、為我儕所得、自亞嫩溪濱之亞羅珥及谷中之邑、谷中之邑或作州中之邑至於基列、無鞏固之城、我儕所不能取者、主我之天主盡付於我儕、惟亞捫人之境、凡沿雅博溪之地、山中諸邑、及主我之天主所禁者、爾未就近以攻之、我儕遂往巴珊、巴珊王噩帥其軍眾、出以敵我、至以得來與我戰、主諭我曰、毋畏之、我以彼及其軍眾土地付於爾手、爾必待之、與昔待居希實本之亞摩利王西宏無異、於是主我之天主以巴珊王噩及其軍眾付於我手、我擊殺之、一無所遺、當時我儕取其諸邑、共六十邑、無邑不為我所得、得亞珥歌伯全境、即巴珊王噩之國在巴珊者、此諸邑俱有鞏固之高城、與門與楗、此外更取無城之鄉邑甚多、我殲滅之、滅諸邑之民、男女以及嬰孩、如行於希實本王西宏然、惟牲畜及諸邑之貨財、為我所得、當時我自二亞摩利王手取約但東之地、自亞嫩溪至黑門山、

使天下萬民、皆知主之力極大、又使爾曹敬畏主爾之天主、至於永遠、

列邦聞之、無不恐懼、非利士居民、亦俱戰慄、以東侯伯、俱已驚惶、摩押英雄、無不悚惕、迦南居民、盡皆喪膽、驚駭恐懼臨及其身、主顯大能、彼眾如石寂然不動、待主之民經行、待主所選之民經行、

天主導之出伊及、使之力強、使之力強或作使之捷行下同可比野牛、
