二人对她说：“你若不泄漏我们这件事，我们情愿替你们死。耶和华将这地赐给我们的时候，我们必以慈爱诚实待你。”

那二人对她说：“我们愿意以性命来替你们死。你们若不泄漏我们这件事，当耶和华将这地赐给我们的时候，我们必以慈爱和诚信待你。”

二人對她說：你若不把我們這件事告訴人，我們情願替你們死；那麼永恆主將這地賜給我們的時候，我們必定拿忠愛與誠信待你。』

二人曰、爾若不洩我事、我以己命代爾、迨耶和華予我地時、我必以仁慈誠實待爾、

二人曰、我之所為當秘勿宣、則我以己命代爾、迨耶和華以斯土予我、我必待爾以仁慈、真實無妄。

二人對曰、爾若不洩我此事、則我以己命代爾、迨主以斯地賜我民時、我必待爾以仁慈誠實、

“ Our lives for your lives!” the men assured her.“ If you don’t tell what we are doing, we will treat you kindly and faithfully when the Lord gives us the land.”

So the men made a promise to her.“ If you save our lives, we’ll save yours,” they said.“ Just don’t tell anyone what we’re doing. Then we’ll be kind and faithful to you when the Lord gives us the land.”

And the men said to her,“ Our life for yours even to death! If you do not tell this business of ours, then when the Lord gives us the land we will deal kindly and faithfully with you.”

“ We offer our own lives as a guarantee for your safety,” the men agreed.“ If you don’t betray us, we will keep our promise and be kind to you when the Lord gives us the land.”

The men answered her,“ We will give our lives for yours. If you don’t report our mission, we will show kindness and faithfulness to you when the LORD gives us the land.”

So the men said to her,“ Our life for yours if you do not tell this business of ours; and it shall come about when the Lord gives us the land that we will deal kindly and faithfully with you.”

So the men answered her,“ Our lives for yours, if none of you tell this business of ours. And it shall be, when the Lord has given us the land, that we will deal kindly and truly with you.”

And the men said unto her, Our life for yours, if ye utter not this our business; and it shall be, when Jehovah giveth us the land, that we will deal kindly and truly with thee.

The men answered her,“ We will give our lives for yours. If you don’t report our mission, we will show kindness and faithfulness to you when the Lord gives us the land.”

And the men answered her, Our life for yours, if ye utter not this our business. And it shall be, when the LORD hath given us the land, that we will deal kindly and truly with thee.

The men said to her,“ If you die, may we die too! If you do not report what we’ve been up to, then, when the LORD hands the land over to us, we will show unswerving allegiance to you.”

The men said to her,“ Our life for yours, if you don’t talk about this business of ours; and it shall be, when Yahweh gives us the land, that we will deal kindly and truly with you.”

憐憫人的人有福了，因為他們必蒙憐憫。

現在你們若願意以慈愛和信實待我的主人，就請告訴我。如果不願意，也請你們告訴我；使我可以知道怎樣行。”

朋友眾多的人，終必彼此破裂，但有一位朋友，比兄弟更親密。

窺探的人看見一個人從城裡出來，就對他說：“請你把進城的路指示我們，我們必恩待你。”那人把進城的路指示了他們，他們就用刀擊殺了那城的居民，卻把那人和他的全家都放走。

摩西對自己的岳父米甸人流珥的兒子何巴說：“我們要起行到耶和華應許的地方去，他曾說：‘我要把那地賜給你們’，現在求你與我們同去，我們必善待你，因為耶和華對以色列已經應許福樂。”何巴對摩西說：“我不去，我要歸回我本地本族那裡去。”摩西說：“求你不要離開我們，因為你知道我們應怎樣在曠野安營，你可以作我們的眼目。如果你與我們同去，將來耶和華用甚麼好處待我們，我們也必用甚麼好處待你。”

這城要完全毀滅，城和城中的一切都歸耶和華；只有妓女喇合，和所有與她在家中的都可以存活，因為她收藏了我們派去的使者。

王從那裡經過的時候，他向王呼叫說：“你僕人出征，在戰陣之中，忽然有一個人轉過來，帶了另一個人來見我，說：‘你看守這個人，他若是走失了，就要你替他償命，否則你要支付三十公斤銀子。’

約書亞卻放過妓女喇合和她的父家，以及她所有的一切；她住在以色列中，直到今日，因為她收藏了約書亞派去窺探耶利哥的使者。

求你以慈愛待僕人，因為你曾與僕人在耶和華面前立盟約。如果我有罪孽，你就親手把我殺死，為甚麼要把我交給你父親呢？”

大衛問：“掃羅家還有剩下的人沒有？我要因約拿單的緣故，以慈愛待他。”
