那两个年轻密探就进去，把喇合和她的父母、兄弟、她所有的一切，以及她所有的亲属，都领出来，安置在以色列的营外。

那二人对罗得说：“你这里还有什么人没有？无论是女婿、儿女，或是城中所有属你的人，都要把他们从这地方带走。我们快要毁灭这地方了，因为控告他们的声音在耶和华面前实在很大，所以耶和华派我们来毁灭这地方。”于是罗得出去，告诉娶了他女儿的女婿说：“你们起来离开这地方；因为耶和华就要毁灭这城。”但是他的女婿以为他在开玩笑。天快亮的时候，两位天使催促罗得说：“起来，带你的妻子，和你这里的两个女儿出去，免得你因这城的罪孽被除灭。”罗得还在犹豫不决的时候，二人因为耶和华宽容罗得，就拉着罗得的手，和他妻子的手，以及他两个女儿的手，把他们带出来，安置在城外。二人把他们带出来以后，其中一位说：“逃命吧，不要回头看，也不可留在这片平原上，要逃到山上去，免得你被除灭。”

耶和华对挪亚说：“你和你全家都要进入方舟，因为在这世代中，我见只有你在我面前是个义人。

那女人回答：“照你们的话，就这样吧。”于是打发他们二人走了。他们走了以后，她就把朱红色线系在窗户上。

现在求你们指着耶和华向我起誓：我既然恩待了你们，你们也要恩待我的父家，并且给我一个确实的凭据，放过我的父母、兄弟姊妹和他们所有的一切，救我们的命不致死亡。”

彼得和他说了话，就进去，看见许多人聚集在那里，

当日摩西按照律法，向所有人民宣布了各样的诫命，就拿牛犊（好些抄本在此有“和山羊”）的血和水，用朱红色的羊毛与牛膝草，洒在律法书上和人民身上，

在这些物件上面，他们要铺上朱红色布，再盖上海狗皮罩，然后把杠穿上。

耶稣说：“今天救恩到了这家，他也是亚伯拉罕的子孙。

愿主赐怜悯给阿尼色弗一家的人，因为他多次使我畅快，也不以我的锁链为耻；

他有话要告诉你，使你和你全家都可以得救。’

因为我怎忍看见我的同胞受害呢？我怎忍看见我的族人消灭呢？”

所以我立刻派人去请你，现在你来了，好极了！我们都在神面前，要听主吩咐你的一切话。”

祭司要把香柏木、牛膝草、朱红色线，都丢在烧牛的火中。

我必使你成为大国，赐福给你，使你的名为大，你也必使别人得福，

就要吩咐人为那求洁净的人，拿两只洁净的活鸟、香柏木、朱红色线和牛膝草来。
