at Shiloh in Canaan and said to them,“ The Lord commanded through Moses that you give us towns to live in, with pasturelands for our livestock.”

They went to all of them at Shiloh in Canaan. They said to them,“ Give us towns to live in. Also give us grasslands for our livestock. That’s what the Lord commanded through Moses.”

And they said to them at Shiloh in the land of Canaan,“ The Lord commanded through Moses that we be given cities to dwell in, along with their pasturelands for our livestock.”

「你告訴以色列人，要從分得的產業中把一些城邑及其周圍的草場分給利未人。城邑供他們居住，草場供他們牧放牛羊等牲畜。劃分給利未人的草場是從城牆往外延伸四百五十米，要以城為中心，東南西北四郊每邊向外量九百米作利未人的草場。要分給利未人四十二座城邑，另外再加六座供誤殺人者躲避的避難城，共四十八座城邑，包括城周圍的草場。以色列各支派要從自己承受的產業中分一些城邑給利未人，人多的支派多給，人少的支派少給。」

不要帶行李、備用的衣服、鞋子或手杖，因為做工的理應得到供應。

在真道上受教的人應該把一切美好的東西分享給教導他的人。

那些善於管理教會的長老，尤其是那些辛勤傳道和教導人的，理當得到加倍的尊敬和報酬。因為聖經上說：「牛在踩穀時，不可籠住牠的嘴。」又說：「做工的得報酬是應該的。」

你們獻給耶和華的聖地長十二點五公里、寬五公里，南北面各長十二點五公里，東西面各寬五公里。聖殿在這塊地的中央。這塊地要歸給撒督的子孫——忠心事奉我的聖潔祭司。當以色列人和利未人走入歧途時，他們沒有與之同流合污。這塊地要歸給他們。這是至聖之地，與利未人所得的地業相鄰。利未人的地長十二點五公里，寬五公里，與祭司的地相同。他們不可把這塊地出賣或交換，不可歸給他人，因為它是以色列最好的地，是歸給耶和華的聖地。「剩下的十二點五公里長、二點五公里寬的地方是公用的，用來建城邑、房屋和草場，城要建在地的中央。城是正方形的，東、西、南、北各長二點二五公里。城四周要有草場，東西南北各長一百二十五米，與聖地相鄰，城外東西兩側剩下的地各長五公里，地裡的出產用來供應城內的工人。
