凡爾所至之地、我必使其民皆畏懼爾、紛紛潰亂、我必使爾敵在爾前奔逃、原文作使爾諸敵轉背向爾必使大蜂飛集於爾前、以逐希未人迦南人赫人、惟不盡逐之在一年之內、恐土地荒蕪、野獸眾多以害爾、我漸逐之、待爾人民蕃多、可得此地為業、我定爾界、由紅海至非利士海、由曠野至大河、我必將斯地之居民、付於爾手、必逐之於爾前、

旅於斯地、我必祐爾、賜福於爾、我以此列邦賜爾及爾後裔、昔我與爾父亞伯拉罕誓、我必踐其言、我必蕃衍爾後裔、如天星之眾多、以此列邦、賜爾後裔、天下萬國、必因爾後裔蒙福、

爾將渡約但、往得主爾之天主所賜爾之地、既得而居之、

我降臨以拯之、脫於伊及人手、導出斯土、至膏腴廣大流乳與蜜之地、即迦南族赫族亞摩利族比利洗族希未族耶布斯族所居之地、

主立於梯上、或作立於其側曰、我乃耶和華、即爾祖亞伯拉罕之天主、與以撒之天主、爾所臥之地、悉以賜爾及爾後裔、爾之後裔、將多如地之塵沙、向東西南北蔓延、天下萬族、因爾與爾後裔得福、

爾既至主爾天主所賜爾之地、得而居之、意謂不如立王以治我、如我四周列國之民然、

主顯現於亞伯蘭曰、我將以此地賜爾後裔、亞伯蘭在彼為顯現之主建祭臺、

主告之曰、昔我誓於亞伯拉罕以撒雅各曰、我以地賜爾後裔、其地即此、我使爾目睹、惟不得過約但而至之焉、
