在圣者的议会中，神是令人惊惧的，比一切在他周围的都更为可畏。

因此，我们既然领受了不能震动的国，就应该感恩，照着神所喜悦的，用虔诚敬畏的心事奉他；因为我们的神是烈火。

雅各也注意到拉班的脸色，对自己不像从前那样了。

因为陀斐特那烧着的火早已安排好了，是为君王预备的，又深又宽；其中所堆的，是火和许多的柴；耶和华的气像一股硫磺火，把它燃点起来。
