Joshua told the people,“ Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do amazing things among you.”

Joshua said to the people,“ Set yourselves apart to the Lord. Tomorrow he’ll do amazing things among you.”

Then Joshua said to the people,“ Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you.”

Then Joshua told the people,“ Purify yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do great wonders among you.”

Joshua told the people,“ Consecrate yourselves, because the LORD will do wonders among you tomorrow.”

Then Joshua said to the people,“ Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do miracles among you.”

And Joshua said to the people,“ Sanctify yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you.”

And Joshua said unto the people, Sanctify yourselves; for tomorrow Jehovah will do wonders among you.

Joshua told the people,“ Consecrate yourselves, because the Lord will do wonders among you tomorrow.”

“ Go, consecrate the people. Tell them,‘ Consecrate yourselves in preparation for tomorrow; for this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: There are devoted things among you, Israel. You cannot stand against your enemies until you remove them. (niv)

When a period of feasting had run its course, Job would make arrangements for them to be purified. Early in the morning he would sacrifice a burnt offering for each of them, thinking,“ Perhaps my children have sinned and cursed God in their hearts.” This was Job’s regular custom. (niv)

Moses then said to Aaron,“ This is what the Lord spoke of when he said:“‘ Among those who approach me I will be proved holy; in the sight of all the people I will be honored.’” Aaron remained silent. (niv)

When Israel came out of Egypt, Jacob from a people of foreign tongue,Judah became God’s sanctuary, Israel his dominion.The sea looked and fled, the Jordan turned back;the mountains leaped like rams, the hills like lambs.Why was it, sea, that you fled? Why, Jordan, did you turn back?Why, mountains, did you leap like rams, you hills, like lambs?Tremble, earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob, (niv)

Now the Jordan is at flood stage all during harvest. Yet as soon as the priests who carried the ark reached the Jordan and their feet touched the water’s edge, (niv)

The people went around gathering it, and then ground it in a hand mill or crushed it in a mortar. They cooked it in a pot or made it into loaves. And it tasted like something made with olive oil. (niv)
