So Joshua son of Nun called the priests and said to them,“ Take up the ark of the covenant of the Lord and have seven priests carry trumpets in front of it.”

So Joshua, the son of Nun, called for the priests. He said to them,“ Go and get the ark of the covenant of the Lord. I want seven of you to carry trumpets in front of it.”

So Joshua the son of Nun called the priests and said to them,“ Take up the ark of the covenant and let seven priests bear seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark of the Lord.”

So Joshua called together the priests and said,“ Take up the Ark of the Lord’s Covenant, and assign seven priests to walk in front of it, each carrying a ram’s horn.”

So Joshua son of Nun summoned the priests and said to them,“ Take up the ark of the covenant and have seven priests carry seven ram’s horns in front of the ark of the LORD.”

So Joshua the son of Nun called the priests and said to them,“ Take up the ark of the covenant, and have seven priests carry seven trumpets of rams’ horns in front of the ark of the Lord.”

Then Joshua the son of Nun called the priests and said to them,“ Take up the ark of the covenant, and let seven priests bear seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark of the Lord.”

And Joshua the son of Nun called the priests, and said unto them, Take up the ark of the covenant, and let seven priests bear seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark of Jehovah.

So Joshua son of Nun summoned the priests and said to them,“ Take up the ark of the covenant and have seven priests carry seven trumpets in front of the ark of the Lord.”

And Joshua the son of Nun called the priests, and said unto them, Take up the ark of the covenant, and let seven priests bear seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark of the LORD.

So Joshua son of Nun summoned the priests and instructed them,“ Pick up the ark of the covenant, and seven priests must carry seven rams’ horns in front of the ark of the LORD.”

Joshua the son of Nun called the priests, and said to them,“ Take up the ark of the covenant, and let seven priests bear seven trumpets of rams’ horns before Yahweh’s ark.”

Meanwhile, Saul was still breathing out murderous threats against the Lord’s disciples. He went to the high priest (niv)

When you are about to go into battle, the priest shall come forward and address the army.He shall say:“ Hear, Israel: Today you are going into battle against your enemies. Do not be fainthearted or afraid; do not panic or be terrified by them.For the Lord your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory.” (niv)

The seven priests carrying the seven trumpets went forward, marching before the ark of the Lord and blowing the trumpets. The armed men went ahead of them and the rear guard followed the ark of the Lord, while the trumpets kept sounding. (niv)

giving orders to the people:“ When you see the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God, and the Levitical priests carrying it, you are to move out from your positions and follow it. (niv)

When Joshua had spoken to the people, the seven priests carrying the seven trumpets before the Lord went forward, blowing their trumpets, and the ark of the Lord’s covenant followed them. (niv)

Joshua said to the priests,“ Take up the ark of the covenant and pass on ahead of the people.” So they took it up and went ahead of them. (niv)

Insert the poles into the rings on the sides of the ark to carry it. (niv)
