Then Joshua, together with all Israel, took Achan son of Zerah, the silver, the robe, the gold bar, his sons and daughters, his cattle, donkeys and sheep, his tent and all that he had, to the Valley of Achor.

Then Joshua and all the people grabbed Achan, the son of Zerah. They took the silver, the robe and the gold bar. They took Achan’s sons and daughters. They took his cattle, donkeys and sheep. They also took his tent and everything he had. They carried all of it out to the Valley of Achor.

And Joshua and all Israel with him took Achan the son of Zerah, and the silver and the cloak and the bar of gold, and his sons and daughters and his oxen and donkeys and sheep and his tent and all that he had. And they brought them up to the Valley of Achor.

When he has filled his belly, God will vent his burning anger against him and rain down his blows on him.Though he flees from an iron weapon, a bronze-tipped arrow pierces him.He pulls it out of his back, the gleaming point out of his liver. Terrors will come over him;total darkness lies in wait for his treasures. A fire unfanned will consume him and devour what is left in his tent.The heavens will expose his guilt; the earth will rise up against him.A flood will carry off his house, rushing waters on the day of God’s wrath. I have seen a grievous evil under the sun: wealth hoarded to the harm of its owners, (niv)

But keep away from the devoted things, so that you will not bring about your own destruction by taking any of them. Otherwise you will make the camp of Israel liable to destruction and bring trouble on it. (niv)
