約但西、居山地、居窪地、居對利巴嫩大海濱之諸王、居對利巴嫩大海濱之諸王或作居大海濱至於利巴嫩諸王即赫人、亞摩利人、迦南人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人諸王、既聞斯事、

Now when all the kings west of the Jordan heard about these things— the kings in the hill country, in the western foothills, and along the entire coast of the Mediterranean Sea as far as Lebanon( the kings of the Hittites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites)—

All the kings who ruled west of the Jordan River heard about the battles Israel had won. That included the kings who ruled in the central hill country and the western hills. It also included those who ruled along the entire coast of the Mediterranean Sea all the way to Lebanon. They were the kings of the Hittites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites.

As soon as all the kings who were beyond the Jordan in the hill country and in the lowland all along the coast of the Great Sea toward Lebanon, the Hittites, the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites, heard of this,

Now all the kings west of the Jordan River heard about what had happened. These were the kings of the Hittites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites, who lived in the hill country, in the western foothills, and along the coast of the Mediterranean Sea as far north as the Lebanon mountains.

When all the kings heard about Jericho and Ai, those who were west of the Jordan in the hill country, in the Judean foothills, and all along the coast of the Mediterranean Sea toward Lebanon— the Hethites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites—

Now it came about when all the kings who were beyond the Jordan, in the hill country, the lowland, and on all the coast of the Great Sea toward Lebanon, the Hittite and the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite, heard about it,

And it came to pass when all the kings who were on this side of the Jordan, in the hills and in the lowland and in all the coasts of the Great Sea toward Lebanon— the Hittite, the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite— heard about it,

And it came to pass, when all the kings that were beyond the Jordan, in the hill- country, and in the lowland, and on all the shore of the great sea in front of Lebanon, the Hittite, and the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite, heard thereof;

When the news reached all the kings on the west side of the Jordan– in the hill country, the lowlands, and all along the Mediterranean coast as far as Lebanon( including the Hittites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites)–

When all the kings who were beyond the Jordan, in the hill country, and in the lowland, and on all the shore of the great sea in front of Lebanon, the Hittite, the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite, heard of it

「西部以地中海為界。

你們過了約旦河來到耶利哥。耶利哥人、亞摩利人、比利洗人、迦南人、赫人、革迦撒人、希未人和耶布斯人都跟你們交戰，但我把他們交在你們手中。

從哈拉山起到西珥，直到黑門山山麓黎巴嫩山谷的巴力·迦得城。約書亞擒獲了各城的王，殺死了他們。

眾人便把耶路撒冷王、希伯崙王、耶末王、拉吉王、伊磯倫王從洞裡押出來，帶到約書亞面前。

約書亞在當天佔領了瑪基大，把瑪基大王和所有的居民都殺了，一個沒留。他對待瑪基大王跟以前對待耶利哥王一樣。約書亞和以色列軍又從瑪基大出發，去攻打立拿。耶和華將立拿城和立拿王交在以色列人手中，他們殺了全城的人，一個沒留。他們對待立拿王跟以前對待耶利哥王一樣。約書亞和以色列軍從立拿前往拉吉，他們在城外紮營，攻打拉吉。耶和華將拉吉交在以色列人手中，第二天約書亞便攻佔了拉吉，殺了全城的人，就像在立拿所行的一樣。基色王何蘭前來支持拉吉，結果也被約書亞殺得一個不剩。約書亞又率領以色列全軍從拉吉前往伊磯倫，在城外紮營，攻打伊磯倫。他們當天就攻陷該城，殺了城內所有的人，就像在拉吉所行的一樣。約書亞和全體以色列人又從伊磯倫去攻打希伯崙。他們攻陷該城及其附屬城邑，殺了希伯崙王和城邑中的居民，一個沒留，就像在伊磯倫所行的一樣。然後，約書亞和全體以色列人再回兵攻打底璧，攻取了該城及其附屬城邑，擒獲底璧王，殺了城中所有的人，一個沒留，就像對待希伯崙、立拿和立拿王一樣。

我給你定下國界，從紅海到非利士海岸，從曠野到幼發拉底河。我要把其中所有的人都交在你手中，你要把他們全部趕出去。

約書亞帶領以色列人征服了約旦河西的諸王，佔領的土地包括從黎巴嫩谷地的巴力·迦得直到西珥的哈拉山。約書亞按以色列的支派把這些土地分給以色列人。那裡有山區、丘陵、河谷、山坡、曠野和南地，就是赫人、亞摩利人、迦南人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人住的地方。這些王是耶利哥王、伯特利附近的艾王、耶路撒冷王、希伯崙王、耶末王、拉吉王、伊磯倫王、基色王、底璧王、基德王、何珥瑪王、亞拉得王、立拿王、亞杜蘭王、瑪基大王、伯特利王、他普亞王、希弗王、亞弗王、拉沙崙王、瑪頓王、夏瑣王、伸崙·米崙王、押煞王、他納王、米吉多王、基低斯王、迦密附近的約念王、多珥山上的多珥王、吉甲的戈印王、得撒王，共三十一個王。

求你讓我過去看看約旦河那邊的佳美之地——那美好的山區和黎巴嫩。』

你要遵行我今天的吩咐。我必從你面前驅逐亞摩利人、迦南人、赫人、比利洗人、希未人和耶布斯人。

迦巴勒人的地方；以及東從黑門山山麓的巴力·迦得直到哈馬口的整個黎巴嫩。

現在你們的上帝耶和華已經照祂的應許使你們的弟兄安居，你們可以回到約旦河東，到摩西賜給你們作產業的地方。

便大為恐懼。因為基遍是一座大城，宏偉得像座都城，比艾城更大，城中的人都驍勇善戰。耶路撒冷王亞多尼·洗德便派遣使者去見希伯崙王何咸、耶末王毗蘭、拉吉王雅非亞和伊磯倫王底璧，說：「求你們上來幫助我攻打基遍，因為這城已經與約書亞和以色列人立了和約。」這五位亞摩利王便聯合起來，率領他們所有的軍隊在基遍附近紮營，攻打基遍。

摩西已經在巴珊把土地分給了瑪拿西半個支派，約書亞把約旦河西的土地分給了瑪拿西另外的半個支派及其他支派。約書亞派他們回家的時候，為他們祝福，

包括約旦河東的整個亞拉巴，遠至毗斯迦山腳的亞拉巴海。

以色列人過河的時候，抬耶和華約櫃的祭司站立在河中間的乾地上，直到所有人都從乾地上過了約旦河。

在約旦河西岸一帶的亞摩利眾王和沿海一帶的迦南眾王，聽說耶和華為了讓以色列人過河而使約旦河成為乾地，都嚇得膽戰心驚，勇氣盡失。

夏瑣王耶賓聽見這些消息，就派人去見瑪頓王約巴、伸崙王、押煞王，還有北方山區、基尼烈南面的亞拉巴、西部丘陵和多珥高原的各王，以及東西兩面的迦南人、山區的亞摩利人、赫人、比利洗人、耶布斯人和黑門山麓米斯巴地區的希未人。這些王便率領自己的軍隊，帶著許多馬匹和戰車傾巢出動，人數多如海邊的沙。他們在米倫河會師，一同紮營，要跟以色列人交戰。

就在那天，耶和華跟亞伯蘭立約，說：「我必將這片土地賜給你的後代，使他們得到從埃及河到幼發拉底河一帶的土地，就是基尼人、基尼洗人、甲摩尼人、赫人、比利洗人、利乏音人、亞摩利人、迦南人、革迦撒人和耶布斯人的土地。」

從南部的曠野直到北部的黎巴嫩，從東部的幼發拉底大河直到西部的地中海，包括赫人居住的全境，都將是你們的領土。

然後，約書亞回師攻陷夏瑣，殺了夏瑣王。夏瑣在諸國中為首。以色列人殺了城內的人，一個沒留。約書亞放火燒了夏瑣。

「你們的上帝耶和華帶領你們進入將要佔領的土地時，會為你們趕走赫人、革迦撒人、亞摩利人、迦南人、比利洗人、希未人和耶布斯人這七個比你們強大的民族。

要等到你們的上帝耶和華使你們的弟兄像你們一樣得到祂所賜的土地，安居以後，你們才可以回到約旦河東，在耶和華的僕人摩西分給你們的土地上定居。」
