现在，许多国家聚集攻击你，说：“让锡安被玷污！让我们亲眼看到！”

哪一大国有神明与他们相近，像耶和华—我们的上帝在我们求告他的时候与我们相近呢？哪一大国有这样公义的律例典章，像我今日在你们面前所颁布的这一切律法呢？

以致她追随所爱的人，却追不上，寻找他们，却寻不着，就说：“我要回到前夫那里去，因我那时比现在还好。”

“耶和华—你的上帝必领你进入美地，那地有河流，有泉源和深渊的水从谷中和山上流出。那地有小麦、大麦、葡萄树、无花果树、石榴树，那地也有橄榄油和蜂蜜。那地没有缺乏，你在那里有食物吃，一无所缺；那地的石头是铁，山中可以挖铜。

他将他的道指示雅各，将他的律例典章指示以色列。他未曾这样对待别国，至于他的典章，他们向来都不知道。哈利路亚！

上帝何曾为自己尝试从别的国中领出一国的子民来，用考验、神迹、奇事、战争、大能的手、伸出来的膀臂和大可畏的事，像耶和华—你们的上帝在埃及，在你们眼前为你们所做的一切事呢？这是要显给你看，使你知道，惟有耶和华他是上帝，除他以外，再没有别的了。他从天上使你听见他的声音，为要教导你，又在地上使你看见他的烈火，并且听见他从火中所说的话。因为他爱你的列祖，拣选他们的后裔，亲自用大能领你出了埃及，

凡过路的都向你拍掌。他们向耶路撒冷嗤笑，摇头：“这就是人称为全美的、称为全地所喜悦的城吗？”你所有的仇敌张口来攻击你；他们嗤笑，切齿，说：“我们把她吞灭了，这是我们所盼望的日子！我们终于等到了，亲眼看见了！”

他醒悟过来，就说：‘我父亲有多少雇工，粮食有余，我倒在这里饿死吗？
