主怒郇邑、愁雲慘淡、以色列雖榮光焜耀、若躋穹蒼、必下墮於地兮、雖為駐蹕之所、亦所弗惜兮。

How the Lord has covered Daughter Zion with the cloud of his anger! He has hurled down the splendor of Israel from heaven to earth; he has not remembered his footstool in the day of his anger.

See how the Lord covered the city of Zion with the cloud of his anger! He threw Israel’s glory down from heaven to earth. When he was angry, he turned his back on his own city.

The Lord in his anger has cast a dark shadow over beautiful Jerusalem. The fairest of Israel’s cities lies in the dust, thrown down from the heights of heaven. In his day of great anger, the Lord has shown no mercy even to his Temple.

“我們要進入他的居所，在他的腳凳前下拜。

大衛王站起來，說：“我的兄弟，我的人民哪，你們要聽我的話；我心裡有意要建造一所安放耶和華的約櫃的殿宇，作我們的神的腳凳，並且我已經準備好要建造。

我們那聖潔和榮美的殿，就是我們的列祖讚美你的所在，被火燒了。我們所喜愛的一切，都成了廢墟。

你是護衛寶座的、受膏的基路伯；我安置你在神的聖山上，你在閃耀如火的寶石中間行走。從你被造的日子起，你的行為都無可指摘，直到在你中間有了罪孽為止。因你的貿易昌盛，你中間就充滿了強暴的事，你也犯了罪，所以我把你當作污穢之物，從神的山把你拋棄。護衛寶座的基路伯啊！我要把你從閃耀如火的寶石中除掉。

明亮之星、清晨之子啊！你怎麼從天上墜落？你這傾覆列國的，怎麼被砍倒在地上？你心裡曾說：‘我要升到天上，我要高舉我的寶座到神的眾星之上，我要坐在聚會的山上，在北方的極處。我要升到雲的高處，我要使自己像那至高者一般。’然而，你卻被拋下陰間，落到坑中的極處。

我在答比匿折斷埃及眾軛的時候，白晝就必變為黑暗；埃及所誇耀的勢力必在其中止息；這城必有密雲遮蓋，城中的居民必被擄去。

迦百農啊！你會被高舉到天上嗎？你必降到陰間。在你那裡行過的神蹟，如果行在所多瑪，那城還會存留到今天。

你們要尊崇耶和華我們的神，在他的腳凳前敬拜；他是聖潔的。

你被怒氣籠罩著，你追趕我們，殺戮我們，毫不顧惜。你用密雲把自己遮蔽起來，以致我們的禱告不能達到你那裡。

那日是黑暗幽冥的日子，是密雲漆黑的日子。有一隊眾多強盛的民來到，好像晨光滿布群山；這樣的事從前沒有發生過，以後直到萬代，也不會發生。

“以色列啊！尊榮的人都在高處被殺，勇士怎麼都已仆倒！

天上發生了戰爭：米迦勒和他的天使與龍作戰。龍和牠的天使也起來應戰，龍卻抵擋不住，天上再也沒有牠們的地方了。於是那大龍被摔了下來。牠就是那古蛇，名叫魔鬼，又叫撒但，是迷惑普天下的人的。牠被摔在地上，牠的天使也跟牠一同被摔了下來。

黃金怎麼竟然失去光澤，純金怎麼竟然變色？聖殿的石頭都被拋棄在各街頭上。

他們以美麗的飾物為誇耀，又用這些來鑄造可憎可厭的偶像，因此我要使它們成為污穢之物。我要把它們交在外族人的手裡作掠物，給地上的惡人作戰利品，他們必褻瀆這些東西。我必轉臉不看他們，讓他們褻瀆我的聖所。強盜要進那裡去，褻瀆那地方。

從前人煙稠密的城中，現在怎麼竟然孤獨地坐在那裡。從前在列國中為大的，現在怎麼竟然像個寡婦。從前在眾省份中為王后的，現在怎麼竟然成了奴隸。

‘你要告訴以色列家，主耶和華這樣說：看哪！我必使我的聖所被褻瀆，這聖所就是你們所誇耀的勢力，眼所喜愛的，心中所愛惜的。你們遺下的兒女，都必倒在刀下。

還有你，迦百農啊！你會被高舉到天上嗎？你必降到陰間。

我毀滅你的時候，必把天遮蔽，使天上的星昏暗，用密雲遮蓋太陽；月亮也必不發光。我必使天上所有的光體都在你以上變為昏暗；我必使黑暗籠罩你的地；這是主耶和華的宣告。

耶穌說：“我看見撒但，像閃電一樣從天墜落。

她給孩子起名叫以迦博，說：“榮耀已經離開以色列了。”這是因為神的約櫃被搶去，又因為她的公公和丈夫都死了。
