My eyes fail from weeping, I am in torment within; my heart is poured out on the ground because my people are destroyed, because children and infants faint in the streets of the city.

耶和華歟、請爾垂顧、我遭苦難、中心慘怛兮、叛逆維甚、衷懷反仄兮、在外喪於鋒刃、居家有若死亡兮、

故我曰、爾勿我顧、我將痛哭、勿為我民女遭滅、強慰藉我、

我見傾如水、骨節盡脫、中心如蠟、銷鎔於內兮、

我魂歟、我聞角聲、戰鬥之警、我心痛哉、我心痛哉、中懷不安、不能緘默、

我目因憂愁而衰敗、因諸敵而昏瞶兮、

因我民女遭滅、我目流涕如溪兮、我目流涕、無已無間兮、迨耶和華垂顧、自天鑒觀兮、緣我邑中諸女、觸目而傷心兮、

戮於刃者、較死於飢者猶幸兮、因乏田間之產、日漸衰弱、如被刺兮、慈婦手烹其子女兮、我民女遭滅時、以此為糧兮、

夜間每交更時、起而呼籲兮、在耶和華前、傾心若水兮、爾之幼稚、因飢昏於街隅、爾當向主舉手、求其生命兮、耶和華歟、尚其鑒察、爾行此於誰兮、婦所產育保抱之子、可自食之乎、祭司先知、可戮於耶和華聖所乎、

萬軍之上帝耶和華、以色列之上帝曰、爾曹奚為行此大惡、自害厥命、俾男女孩提乳子、悉絕於猶大、靡有孑遺、

遂皆大聲而哭、至於力盡乃已、

我之呢喃、如燕如鶴、我之哀鳴、有若班鳩、瞻望目疲、耶和華歟、我遭愁苦、爾其保余、

野犬猶出其乳、以哺厥子兮、惟我民女殘忍、若野間之鴕鳥兮、哺乳之嬰、厥舌燥渴而黏腭兮、稚子求餅、無人擘而予之兮、

有我民女哀號之聲、來自遠方、曰、耶和華不在錫安乎、厥王不在其中乎、曰、彼胡為以雕像、及異邦之虛物、激我怒耶、穡時既逝、夏日已過、我儕猶未獲救、我民女受傷、我因之受傷、我乃哀慟、中懷驚駭、在基列豈無乳香、豈無醫士、我民女之疾、胡不得瘳耶、願我首為水泉、我目為淚源、則可為我被戮之民女、旦夕哭泣、

耶和華歟、我遭患難、求爾矜憫、因我憂苦、我目就衰、害及我心我身兮、

蓋日將至、人必曰、未妊者、未產者、未哺乳者、福矣、

我呼籲而疲倦、我喉乾燥、企望我上帝、目為之瞶兮、

爾其以是言語之曰、我目流涕、晝夜不息、我民處女、大見摧殘、而受重傷、
