那些无故与我为敌的人追捕我，像追捕雀鸟一样。

敵人無故地追捕我，如同捕獵飛鳥。

那些無故與我為敵的人追捕我，像追捕雀鳥一樣。

『我的仇敵無緣無故緊緊追捕我，像捕雀鳥一樣。

無故為我敵者、急追我如追鳥兮、

敵人追予、出於無因、若鳥被逐兮。

無故憾我者、追我若鳥、

Those who were my enemies without cause hunted me like a bird.

Those who were my enemies for no reason at all hunted me down as if I were a bird.

“ I have been hunted like a bird by those who were my enemies without cause;

My enemies, whom I have never harmed, hunted me down like a bird.

For no reason, my enemies hunted me like a bird.

My enemies without reason Hunted me down like a bird;

My enemies without cause Hunted me down like a bird.

They have chased me sore like a bird, they that are mine enemies without cause.

For no apparent reason, my enemies hunted me like a bird.

Mine enemies chased me sore, like a bird, without cause.

For no good reason my enemies hunted me down like a bird.

They have chased me relentlessly like a bird, those who are my enemies without cause.

Do not let those gloat over me who are my enemies without cause; do not let those who hate me without reason maliciously wink the eye. (niv)

Since they hid their net for me without cause and without cause dug a pit for me, (niv)

But this is to fulfill what is written in their Law:‘ They hated me without reason.’ (niv)

And he added,“ Why is my lord pursuing his servant? What have I done, and what wrong am I guilty of?Now let my lord the king listen to his servant’s words. If the Lord has incited you against me, then may he accept an offering. If, however, people have done it, may they be cursed before the Lord! They have driven me today from my share in the Lord’s inheritance and have said,‘ Go, serve other gods.’Now do not let my blood fall to the ground far from the presence of the Lord. The king of Israel has come out to look for a flea— as one hunts a partridge in the mountains.” (niv)

Then Jeremiah said to King Zedekiah,“ What crime have I committed against you or your attendants or this people, that you have put me in prison? (niv)

“ Please forgive your servant’s presumption. The Lord your God will certainly make a lasting dynasty for my lord, because you fight the Lord’s battles, and no wrongdoing will be found in you as long as you live.Even though someone is pursuing you to take your life, the life of my lord will be bound securely in the bundle of the living by the Lord your God, but the lives of your enemies he will hurl away as from the pocket of a sling. (niv)

Then the officials said to the king,“ This man should be put to death. He is discouraging the soldiers who are left in this city, as well as all the people, by the things he is saying to them. This man is not seeking the good of these people but their ruin.”“ He is in your hands,” King Zedekiah answered.“ The king can do nothing to oppose you.”So they took Jeremiah and put him into the cistern of Malkijah, the king’s son, which was in the courtyard of the guard. They lowered Jeremiah by ropes into the cistern; it had no water in it, only mud, and Jeremiah sank down into the mud. (niv)

With words of hatred they surround me; they attack me without cause. (niv)

This day you have seen with your own eyes how the Lord delivered you into my hands in the cave. Some urged me to kill you, but I spared you; I said,‘ I will not lay my hand on my lord, because he is the Lord’s anointed.’See, my father, look at this piece of your robe in my hand! I cut off the corner of your robe but did not kill you. See that there is nothing in my hand to indicate that I am guilty of wrongdoing or rebellion. I have not wronged you, but you are hunting me down to take my life.May the Lord judge between you and me. And may the Lord avenge the wrongs you have done to me, but my hand will not touch you.As the old saying goes,‘ From evildoers come evil deeds,’ so my hand will not touch you.“ Against whom has the king of Israel come out? Who are you pursuing? A dead dog? A flea?May the Lord be our judge and decide between us. May he consider my cause and uphold it; may he vindicate me by delivering me from your hand.” (niv)

They were angry with Jeremiah and had him beaten and imprisoned in the house of Jonathan the secretary, which they had made into a prison.Jeremiah was put into a vaulted cell in a dungeon, where he remained a long time. (niv)

Rulers persecute me without cause, but my heart trembles at your word. (niv)

Those who hate me without reason outnumber the hairs of my head; many are my enemies without cause, those who seek to destroy me. I am forced to restore what I did not steal. (niv)

In the Lord I take refuge. How then can you say to me:“ Flee like a bird to your mountain. (niv)
