And Aaron spake unto Moses, Behold, this day have they offered their sin- offering and their burnt- offering before Jehovah; and there have befallen me such things as these: and if I had eaten the sin- offering to- day, would it have been well- pleasing in the sight of Jehovah?

亚伦对摩西说：“今天他们在耶和华面前献上赎罪祭和燔祭，我又遇见这样的灾，若今天吃了赎罪祭，耶和华岂能看为美呢？”

亚伦对摩西说：“看哪，他们今天在耶和华面前献上赎罪祭和燔祭，但是我却遭遇这样的灾难。我若今天吃这赎罪祭，耶和华岂能看为美呢？”

亚伦对摩西说：“看哪，他们今天在耶和华面前献上赎罪祭和燔祭，但是我却遭遇这样的灾难。我若今天吃这赎罪祭，耶和华岂能看为美呢？”

亚伦对摩西说：“看啊，他们今天向耶和华献赎罪祭和燔祭，却有这样的灾祸发生在我身上。今天我如果吃了这赎罪祭的祭肉，耶和华会悦纳吗？”

亚伦对摩西说：“今天他们在耶和华面前已经献了赎罪祭和燔祭，而且有这样的灾祸临到我；如果今天我吃了赎罪祭的祭肉，耶和华怎能看为美好呢？”

亞倫對摩西說：「今天他們在耶和華面前獻上贖罪祭和燔祭，我又遇見這樣的災，若今天吃了贖罪祭，耶和華豈能看為美呢？」

亞倫對摩西說：「看哪，他們今天在耶和華面前獻上贖罪祭和燔祭，但是我卻遭遇這樣的災難。我若今天吃這贖罪祭，耶和華豈能看為美呢？」

亞倫對摩西說：「看哪，他們今天在耶和華面前獻上贖罪祭和燔祭，但是我卻遭遇這樣的災難。我若今天吃這贖罪祭，耶和華豈能看為美呢？」

亞倫對摩西說：「看啊，他們今天向耶和華獻贖罪祭和燔祭，卻有這樣的災禍發生在我身上。今天我如果吃了這贖罪祭的祭肉，耶和華會悅納嗎？」

亞倫對摩西說：“今天他們在耶和華面前已經獻了贖罪祭和燔祭，而且有這樣的災禍臨到我；如果今天我吃了贖罪祭的祭肉，耶和華怎能看為美好呢？”

亞倫對摩西說：『今天他們獻了解罪祭和燔祭在永恆主面前，我尚且遇到了這樣的災，今天我若喫了解罪祭，永恆主哪能滿意呢？』

亞倫對曰、今日彼獻贖罪祭與燔祭於耶和華前、我遭斯事、如食贖罪之牲、豈見悅於耶和華乎、

亞倫曰、今日吾子獻贖罪之祭、與燔祭、於耶和華前、適家遭變故、如食其牲、豈見悅於耶和華乎。

亞倫謂摩西曰、今日彼獻贖罪祭與火焚祭於主前、我又遇如是之災、若食贖罪祭牲之肉、豈蒙主悅納乎、

Aaron replied to Moses,“ Today they sacrificed their sin offering and their burnt offering before the Lord, but such things as this have happened to me. Would the Lord have been pleased if I had eaten the sin offering today?”

Aaron replied to Moses,“ Today the people sacrificed their sin offering to the Lord. They also sacrificed their burnt offerings to him. But a terrible thing has happened to me. Two of my sons have died. Would the Lord have been pleased if I had eaten the sin offering today?”

And Aaron said to Moses,“ Behold, today they have offered their sin offering and their burnt offering before the Lord, and yet such things as these have happened to me! If I had eaten the sin offering today, would the Lord have approved?”

Then Aaron answered Moses,“ Today my sons presented both their sin offering and their burnt offering to the Lord. And yet this tragedy has happened to me. If I had eaten the people’s sin offering on such a tragic day as this, would the Lord have been pleased?”

But Aaron replied to Moses,“ See, today they presented their sin offering and their burnt offering before the LORD. Since these things have happened to me, if I had eaten the sin offering today, would it have been acceptable in the LORD’s sight?”

But Aaron said to Moses,“ Behold, this very day they presented their sin offering and their burnt offering before the Lord. When things like these happened to me, if I had eaten a sin offering today, would it have been good in the sight of the Lord?”

And Aaron said to Moses,“ Look, this day they have offered their sin offering and their burnt offering before the Lord, and such things have befallen me! If I had eaten the sin offering today, would it have been accepted in the sight of the Lord?”

But Aaron replied to Moses,“ See, today they presented their sin offering and their burnt offering before the Lord. Since these things have happened to me, if I had eaten the sin offering today, would it have been acceptable in the Lord’s sight?”

And Aaron said unto Moses, Behold, this day have they offered their sin offering and their burnt offering before the LORD; and such things have befallen me: and[ if] I had eaten the sin offering to day, should it have been accepted in the sight of the LORD?

But Aaron spoke to Moses,“ See here! Just today they presented their sin offering and their burnt offering before the LORD and such things as these have happened to me! If I had eaten a sin offering today would the LORD have been pleased?”

Aaron spoke to Moses,“ Behold, today they have offered their sin offering and their burnt offering before Yahweh; and such things as these have happened to me. If I had eaten the sin offering today, would it have been pleasing in Yahweh’s sight?”

And he slew the burnt- offering; and Aaron’s sons delivered unto him the blood, and he sprinkled it upon the altar round about.

So Aaron drew near unto the altar, and slew the calf of the sin- offering, which was for himself.

And this again ye do: ye cover the altar of Jehovah with tears, with weeping, and with sighing, insomuch that he regardeth not the offering any more, neither receiveth it with good will at your hand.

They shall not pour out wine- offerings to Jehovah, neither shall they be pleasing unto him: their sacrifices shall be unto them as the bread of mourners; all that eat thereof shall be polluted; for their bread shall be for their appetite; it shall not come into the house of Jehovah.

When they fast, I will not hear their cry; and when they offer burnt- offering and meal- offering, I will not accept them; but I will consume them by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence.

To what purpose cometh there to me frankincense from Sheba, and the sweet cane from a far country? your burnt- offerings are not acceptable, nor your sacrifices pleasing unto me.

Oh that there were one among you that would shut the doors, that ye might not kindle fire on mine altar in vain! I have no pleasure in you, saith Jehovah of hosts, neither will I accept an offering at your hand.

Ye say also, Behold, what a weariness is it! and ye have snuffed at it, saith Jehovah of hosts; and ye have brought that which was taken by violence, and the lame, and the sick; thus ye bring the offering: should I accept this at your hand? saith Jehovah.

And as he did so year by year, when she went up to the house of Jehovah, so she provoked her; therefore she wept, and did not eat.And Elkanah her husband said unto her, Hannah, why weepest thou? and why eatest thou not? and why is thy heart grieved? am not I better to thee than ten sons?

who needeth not daily, like those high priests, to offer up sacrifices, first for his own sins, and then for the sins of the people: for this he did once for all, when he offered up himself.

and there ye shall eat before Jehovah your God, and ye shall rejoice in all that ye put your hand unto, ye and your households, wherein Jehovah thy God hath blessed thee.

the Holy Spirit this signifying, that the way into the holy place hath not yet been made manifest, while the first tabernacle is yet standing;

And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you; yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood.

What unto me is the multitude of your sacrifices? saith Jehovah: I have had enough of the burnt- offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he- goats.

Rejoice in the Lord always: again I will say, Rejoice.

I have not eaten thereof in my mourning, neither have I put away thereof, being unclean, nor given thereof for the dead: I have hearkened to the voice of Jehovah my God; I have done according to all that thou hast commanded me.
