摩西告诉亚伦：“耶和华曾说过，‘我要在事奉我的人中显明我的圣洁，在所有子民面前彰显我的荣耀。’”亚伦默默无言。

于是摩西对亚伦说：“这就是耶和华曾经告诉我们的，他说：‘在亲近我的人中，我要显为圣，在众人面前，我要得荣耀。’”亚伦就默然无语。

於是摩西對亞倫說：「這就是耶和華所說：『我在親近我的人中要顯為聖；在眾民面前，我要得榮耀。』」亞倫就默默不言。

於是摩西對亞倫說：『這就是永恆主告訴我們說的：「在親近我的人中間、我要顯為聖；在各族之民面前、我要得榮耀。」』亞倫默默無言。

摩西謂亞倫曰、此乃耶和華所諭云、近我者必以我為聖、我在民前、必得其榮、亞倫默然、

摩西謂亞倫曰、耶和華諭云、近我之祭司、必以我為聖、使民歸榮於我。亞倫默然。

摩西謂亞倫曰、此即主之所言、主曾云、在近我者中必自顯為聖、在眾民前必顯我榮光、亞倫靜默不言、

Moses then said to Aaron,“ This is what the Lord spoke of when he said:“‘ Among those who approach me I will be proved holy; in the sight of all the people I will be honored.’” Aaron remained silent.

Then Moses spoke to Aaron. He said,“ That’s what the Lord was talking about when he said,“‘ Among those who approach me I will show that I am holy. In the sight of all the people I will be honored.’ ” So Aaron remained silent.

Then Moses said to Aaron,“ This is what the Lord has said:‘ Among those who are near me I will be sanctified, and before all the people I will be glorified.’” And Aaron held his peace.

Then Moses said to Aaron,“ This is what the Lord meant when he said,‘ I will display my holiness through those who come near me. I will display my glory before all the people.’” And Aaron was silent.

Moses said to Aaron,“ This is what the LORD has spoken: I will demonstrate my holiness to those who are near me, and I will reveal my glory before all the people.” And Aaron remained silent.

Then Moses said to Aaron,“ It is what the Lord spoke, saying,‘ By those who come near Me I will be treated as holy, And before all the people I will be honored.’ ” So Aaron, therefore, kept silent.

And Moses said to Aaron,“ This is what the Lord spoke, saying:‘ By those who come near Me I must be regarded as holy; And before all the people I must be glorified.’” So Aaron held his peace.

Then Moses said unto Aaron, This is it that Jehovah spake, saying, I will be sanctified in them that come nigh me, and before all the people I will be glorified. And Aaron held his peace.

So Moses said to Aaron,“ This is what the Lord meant when He said: I will show My holiness to those who are near Me, and I will reveal My glory before all the people.” But Aaron remained silent.

Then Moses said unto Aaron, This[ is it] that the LORD spake, saying, I will be sanctified in them that come nigh me, and before all the people I will be glorified. And Aaron held his peace.

Moses then said to Aaron,“ This is what the LORD spoke:‘ Among the ones close to me I will show myself holy, and in the presence of all the people I will be honored.’” So Aaron kept silent.

Then Moses said to Aaron,“ This is what Yahweh spoke of, saying,‘ I will show myself holy to those who come near me, and before all the people I will be glorified.’” Aaron held his peace.

Even the priests, who approach the Lord, must consecrate themselves, or the Lord will break out against them.” (niv)

He said to me,“ You are my servant, Israel, in whom I will display my splendor.” (niv)

They must be holy to their God and must not profane the name of their God. Because they present the food offerings to the Lord, the food of their God, they are to be holy. (niv)

In the council of the holy ones God is greatly feared; he is more awesome than all who surround him. (niv)

And I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, and he will pursue them. But I will gain glory for myself through Pharaoh and all his army, and the Egyptians will know that I am the Lord.” So the Israelites did this. (niv)

Far be it from you to do such a thing— to kill the righteous with the wicked, treating the righteous and the wicked alike. Far be it from you! Will not the Judge of all the earth do right?” (niv)

I was silent; I would not open my mouth, for you are the one who has done this. (niv)

Great fear seized the whole church and all who heard about these events.The apostles performed many signs and wonders among the people. And all the believers used to meet together in Solomon’s Colonnade.No one else dared join them, even though they were highly regarded by the people. (niv)

No descendant of Aaron the priest who has any defect is to come near to present the food offerings to the Lord. He has a defect; he must not come near to offer the food of his God. (niv)

When he was gone, Jesus said,“ Now the Son of Man is glorified and God is glorified in him.If God is glorified in him, God will glorify the Son in himself, and will glorify him at once. (niv)

Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe,for our“ God is a consuming fire.” (niv)

and say:‘ This is what the Sovereign Lord says:“‘ I am against you, Sidon, and among you I will display my glory. You will know that I am the Lord, when I inflict punishment on you and within you am proved to be holy. (niv)

“ Anyone who loves their father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves their son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. (niv)

For it is time for judgment to begin with God’s household; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God? (niv)

“ Say to Aaron:‘ For the generations to come none of your descendants who has a defect may come near to offer the food of his God. (niv)

Father, glorify your name!” Then a voice came from heaven,“ I have glorified it, and will glorify it again.” (niv)

He said to them,“ You are the heads of the Levitical families; you and your fellow Levites are to consecrate yourselves and bring up the ark of the Lord, the God of Israel, to the place I have prepared for it.It was because you, the Levites, did not bring it up the first time that the Lord our God broke out in anger against us. We did not inquire of him about how to do it in the prescribed way.” (niv)

“ Therefore the Lord, the God of Israel, declares:‘ I promised that members of your family would minister before me forever.’ But now the Lord declares:‘ Far be it from me! Those who honor me I will honor, but those who despise me will be disdained. (niv)

And the people of Beth Shemesh asked,“ Who can stand in the presence of the Lord, this holy God? To whom will the ark go up from here?” (niv)

Then he said to me,“ The north and south rooms facing the temple courtyard are the priests’ rooms, where the priests who approach the Lord will eat the most holy offerings. There they will put the most holy offerings— the grain offerings, the sin offerings and the guilt offerings— for the place is holy. (niv)

And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. (niv)

My flesh trembles in fear of you; I stand in awe of your laws. (niv)

This is because both of you broke faith with me in the presence of the Israelites at the waters of Meribah Kadesh in the Desert of Zin and because you did not uphold my holiness among the Israelites. (niv)

on the day he comes to be glorified in his holy people and to be marveled at among all those who have believed. This includes you, because you believed our testimony to you. (niv)

“ The word of the Lord you have spoken is good,” Hezekiah replied. For he thought,“ There will be peace and security in my lifetime.” (niv)

“‘ The priests are to perform my service in such a way that they do not become guilty and die for treating it with contempt. I am the Lord, who makes them holy. (niv)

so that he will not defile his offspring among his people. I am the Lord, who makes him holy.’” (niv)

But the Lord said to Moses and Aaron,“ Because you did not trust in me enough to honor me as holy in the sight of the Israelites, you will not bring this community into the land I give them.” (niv)

Regard them as holy, because they offer up the food of your God. Consider them holy, because I the Lord am holy— I who make you holy. (niv)

Depart, depart, go out from there! Touch no unclean thing! Come out from it and be pure, you who carry the articles of the Lord’s house. (niv)

You must stay at the entrance to the tent of meeting day and night for seven days and do what the Lord requires, so you will not die; for that is what I have been commanded.” (niv)

I will accept you as fragrant incense when I bring you out from the nations and gather you from the countries where you have been scattered, and I will be proved holy through you in the sight of the nations. (niv)

He replied,“ You are talking like a foolish woman. Shall we accept good from God, and not trouble?” In all this, Job did not sin in what he said. (niv)

there also I will meet with the Israelites, and the place will be consecrated by my glory.“ So I will consecrate the tent of meeting and the altar and will consecrate Aaron and his sons to serve me as priests. (niv)

At this, Job got up and tore his robe and shaved his head. Then he fell to the ground in worshipand said:“ Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked I will depart. The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; may the name of the Lord be praised.” (niv)

So Samuel told him everything, hiding nothing from him. Then Eli said,“ He is the Lord; let him do what is good in his eyes.” (niv)

He says,“ Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” (niv)
