好在現今顯明他的義，使人知道他自己為義，又稱信耶穌的人為義。

輪流設宴的日子一過，約伯就差人去叫他們自潔。他清早起來，按他們的數目獻上燔祭。因為他心裡想：“說不定孩子犯了罪，心中褻瀆了神。”約伯經常這樣作。

他不是用山羊和牛犢的血，而是用自己的血，只一次進了至聖所，就得到了永遠的救贖。如果山羊和公牛的血，以及母牛犢的灰，灑在不潔的人身上，尚且可以使他們成為聖潔，身體潔淨，何況基督的血呢？他藉著永遠的靈，把自己無瑕無疵的獻給神，他的血不是更能潔淨我們的良心脫離致死的行為，使我們可以事奉永活的神嗎？

因為不信的丈夫因著妻子成為聖潔，不信的妻子也因著那個弟兄成為聖潔了。不然，你們的兒女就是不潔淨的，但現在他們都是聖潔的了。

誰能使潔淨出於污穢呢？無人有此本事。

因為人人都犯了罪，虧缺了神的榮耀，

女人的血漏若是潔淨了，她要計算七天，然後就潔淨了。第八天，她要拿兩隻斑鳩或兩隻雛鴿，帶到會幕門口，交給祭司。祭司要獻一隻作贖罪祭，一隻作燔祭；祭司要在耶和華面前，因那婦人血漏的不潔，為她贖罪。
