他也沒有藉著山羊和牛犢的血，而是藉著他自己的血，一次性地進入聖所，成就了永恆的救贖。實際上，如果山羊和公牛的血，以及母牛犢的灰，灑在那些汙穢的人身上，能使他們分別為聖、肉身潔淨，更何況基督的血呢！基督藉著永恆的聖靈，將自己毫無瑕疵地獻給神，他的血難道不能潔淨我們的良心脫離致死的行為，使我們事奉永生的神嗎？

因為那不信的丈夫因著妻子就得以聖潔了；而那不信的妻子也因著丈夫得以聖潔了；否則，你們的兒女就是不潔淨的；但如今他們是聖潔的。

其中沒有猶太人或希臘人，沒有為奴的或自由的，沒有男的或女的，因為你們在基督耶穌裡都合而為一了。

要知道，每個人都犯了罪，虧缺了神的榮耀；
