好在現今的時期做他救人之義的明證，來顯明他自己為義，也是叫信耶穌的人得以稱義的。

宴飲的日子輪完了，約伯總打發人去叫他們來，使他們潔淨自己為聖；他往往在早晨時候清早起來，按着他們幾人的數目獻上燔祭；因為約伯說：『萬一我兒子犯了罪，心裏謗讟上帝呢。』每逢這個日子、約伯總是這樣行的。

也沒有藉着山羊和牛犢的血，乃藉着自己的血、儘一次地進去，就立得了永世的贖放。若山羊和公牛的血、跟母牛犢的灰、灑在被俗污沾染的人身上、尚且能使他們成聖別、以致肉身潔淨，何況基督的血呢？基督藉着永恆的靈、將自己無瑕無疵地獻與上帝，他、的血豈不更能潔淨我們的良知，除去屬死的行為，使我們能事奉永活的上帝麼？

因為不信主的男人因着妻子就聖別了；不信主的婦人因着弟兄也聖別了。不然，你們的兒女就不潔淨了；其實卻是聖潔的。

巴不得污穢之中能有潔淨呢！一概不能啊！

他要把一切的脂肪取下來，正如脂肪從平安祭牲上取下來一樣；祭司要給燻在祭壇上、做怡神之香氣獻與永恆主；祭司要這樣為他行除罪禮，他就蒙赦免。

一切脂肪祭司都要燻在祭壇上，像燻平安祭的脂肪一樣：他的罪祭司要這樣為他行消除禮，他就蒙赦免。

對這公牛他是要這樣行的：他對個人解罪祭的公牛怎樣行，對這公牛也要怎樣行：祭司要為眾民行除罪禮，眾民就蒙赦免。

並沒有猶太人或希利尼人的分別了；沒有奴僕或自主、也沒有男女的分別了；因為在基督耶穌裏、你們眾人都是一個人了。

他要把一切脂肪取下來，正如平安祭牲綿羔羊的脂肪被取下來一樣；祭司要把這些物品燻在祭壇上、在獻與永恆主的火祭之上：關於那人所犯的罪、祭司要這樣為他行消除禮，他就蒙赦免。

他要按手在燔祭牲的頭上、為自己行除罪禮，便蒙悅納。

因為萬人都犯了罪，都虧缺了上帝的榮耀，

女人若得潔淨、沒有漏症，她總要自己算七天，然後才潔淨。第八天她要取兩隻斑鳩、或是兩隻雛鴿，帶到會棚的出入處，交給祭司。祭司要獻一隻為解罪祭，一隻為燔祭；為了那人不潔淨之漏症，祭司要在永恆主面前這樣為她行除罪禮。
