“ If anyone has a boil on the skin that has started to heal,

“人若是在皮肉上生了瘡，已經醫好了；

『人的肉身若在皮膚上長了瘡，已經好了；

如人膚際生瘡、而後得醫、

如人膚際生瘡、而後得醫、

若肌膚生瘡而痊愈、

“ When someone has a boil on their skin and it heals,

“ Suppose someone has a boil on their skin and it heals.

“ If there is in the skin of one’s body a boil and it heals,

“ When a boil appears on the skin of someone’s body and it heals,

“ Now when the body has a boil on its skin and it is healed,

“ If the body develops a boil in the skin, and it is healed,

And when the flesh hath in the skin thereof a boil, and it is healed,

“ When a boil appears on the skin of one’s body and it heals,

The flesh also, in which,[ even] in the skin thereof, was a boil, and is healed,

“ When someone’s body has a boil on its skin and it heals,

“ When the body has a boil on its skin, and it has healed,

The ashes will spread like fine dust over the whole land of Egypt, causing festering boils to break out on people and animals throughout the land.”

Isaiah had said to Hezekiah’s servants,“ Make an ointment from figs and spread it over the boil, and Hezekiah will recover.”

Then Isaiah said,“ Make an ointment from figs.” So Hezekiah’s servants spread the ointment over the boil, and Hezekiah recovered!

Because of your anger, my whole body is sick; my health is broken because of my sins.My guilt overwhelms me— it is a burden too heavy to bear.My wounds fester and stink because of my foolish sins.I am bent over and racked with pain. All day long I walk around filled with grief.A raging fever burns within me, and my health is broken.

He said,“ If you will listen carefully to the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in his sight, obeying his commands and keeping all his decrees, then I will not make you suffer any of the diseases I sent on the Egyptians; for I am the Lord who heals you.”

So Satan left the Lord’s presence, and he struck Job with terrible boils from head to foot.
