摩押的居民哪，要離開城鎮，住在山崖裏，像鴿子在峽谷口上搭窩。

「若他的力量不夠獻一隻綿羊，就要為所犯的罪，把兩隻斑鳩或是兩隻雛鴿獻給耶和華為贖愆祭：一隻作贖罪祭，一隻作燔祭。

我像燕子呢喃，像白鶴鳴叫，又如鴿子哀鳴；我因仰望，眼睛困倦。主啊，我受欺壓，求你為我作保。

你們躺臥在羊圈，好像鴿子的翅膀鍍銀，翎毛鍍金一般。

我們全都咆哮如熊，哀鳴如鴿子；指望公平，卻得不着；指望救恩，它卻遠離。
