從那信實的見證者、死人中首先復活的、地上眾君王的元首耶穌基督，臨到你們！他愛我們，用自己的血，把我們從我們的罪孽中釋放出來，又使我們成為國度，做他父神的祭司。願榮耀和權能都歸於他，直到永永遠遠！阿們。

這水所象徵的洗禮，如今也藉著耶穌基督的復活拯救你們，不是清除肉體的汙穢，而是向神懇求無愧的良心。

我對他說：「我主啊，你是知道的。」他就對我說：「這些人都是從大患難中出來的。他們用羔羊的血洗淨了自己的袍子，使它們潔白了。
