“‘ When a man has an emission of semen, he must bathe his whole body with water, and he will be unclean till evening.

“‘ Suppose semen flows from a man’s body. Then he must wash his whole body with water. He will be“ unclean” until evening.

“ If a man has an emission of semen, he shall bathe his whole body in water and be unclean until the evening.

“ Whenever a man has an emission of semen, he must bathe his entire body in water, and he will remain ceremonially unclean until the next evening.

“ When a man has an emission of semen, he is to bathe himself completely with water, and he will remain unclean until evening.

If one of your men is unclean because of a nocturnal emission, he is to go outside the camp and stay there.But as evening approaches he is to wash himself, and at sunset he may return to the camp. (niv)

Anyone who touches his bed must wash their clothes and bathe with water, and they will be unclean till evening. (niv)

Therefore, since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God. (niv)

Dear friends, I urge you, as foreigners and exiles, to abstain from sinful desires, which wage war against your soul. (niv)
