“‘ You must keep the Israelites separate from things that make them unclean, so they will not die in their uncleanness for defiling my dwelling place, which is among them.’”

If I had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened; (niv)

yet because of his defect, he must not go near the curtain or approach the altar, and so desecrate my sanctuary. I am the Lord, who makes them holy.’” (niv)

If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person; for God’s temple is sacred, and you together are that temple. (niv)

You must distinguish between the unclean and the clean, between living creatures that may be eaten and those that may not be eaten.’” (niv)

These are the regulations concerning defiling molds in woolen or linen clothing, woven or knitted material, or any leather article, for pronouncing them clean or unclean. (niv)
