要将那只归阿撒泻勒的公山羊活着献给耶和华，然后把它放到旷野归阿撒泻勒，用来赎罪。

亦攜歸亞撒色之羊、生置我前、代為贖罪、後釋之於曠野、以歸亞撒色。

But the goat chosen by lot as the scapegoat shall be presented alive before the Lord to be used for making atonement by sending it into the wilderness as a scapegoat.

上帝使基督耶稣成为赎罪祭，以便人借着相信耶稣的宝血可以得到赦免。这是为了显明上帝的义，因为祂用忍耐的心宽容人过去的罪，

我们所需要的，正是这样一位圣洁无瑕、良善纯全、远离罪恶、超越诸天的大祭司。祂无需像其他大祭司每天先为自己的罪献祭，然后为百姓的罪献祭，因为祂只一次献上自己的生命，便永远完成了赎罪的工作。

祭司要用鸟血在他身上洒七次，宣布他是洁净的，然后放走那只活鸟，让它飞向田野。

耶稣受害而死是为了我们的过犯，祂复活是为了使我们成为义人。

上帝使无罪的基督担当我们的罪，使我们可以借着基督成为被上帝接纳的义人。

其实祂担当了我们的忧患，背负了我们的痛苦。我们却以为是上帝责罚、击打、苦待祂。谁知祂是因我们的过犯而被刺透，因我们的罪恶而被压伤。我们因祂所受的刑罚而得到平安，因祂所受的鞭伤而得到医治。我们都像迷路的羊，各人偏行己路，但上帝却让祂承担我们众人的罪恶。祂遭欺压、受痛苦，却默然不语，像被人牵去宰杀的羔羊，又如在剪毛人手下一声不吭的绵羊。祂被逮捕，受审判，被处死。祂那个世代的人谁会想到祂受鞭打、从世上被除去是因为我百姓的过犯呢？虽然祂没有做过残暴之事，口中也没有诡诈，人却将祂与恶人同葬，祂死后葬在富人的墓穴。然而，祂被压伤、受痛苦是耶和华的旨意；祂的性命作了赎罪祭。祂必看见自己的后裔，祂必长久活着。耶和华的旨意必在祂手中实现。祂必看见自己劳苦的成果，并心满意足。耶和华说：“我公义的仆人必凭祂的知识使许多人被算为义人，祂要担当他们的罪恶。

把双手放在羊头上，承认以色列人的过犯、叛逆和罪恶，将这一切罪归到公山羊的头上，然后派人把它送到旷野。这只公山羊担当他们的一切罪，将这一切罪带到荒无人烟的地方。

主耶稣为我们舍命，我们由此便知道什么是爱，我们也应当为弟兄姊妹舍命。

既然仿照天上的样式所造的器具需要用祭牲的血来洁净，天上的原物当然要用更美的祭物来洁净。因为基督并非进入了人手所造的圣所，那只是真圣所的缩影，祂是进入了天堂，替我们来到上帝面前。
