“‘ Suppose someone eats anything found dead or torn apart by wild animals. It does not matter whether they are an Israelite or an outsider. They must wash their clothes. They must take a bath. They will be“ unclean” until evening. After that, they will be“ clean.”

“ And if any native born Israelites or foreigners eat the meat of an animal that died naturally or was torn up by wild animals, they must wash their clothes and bathe themselves in water. They will remain ceremonially unclean until evening, but then they will be clean.

“ Every person, whether the native or the resident alien, who eats an animal that died a natural death or was mauled by wild beasts is to wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will remain unclean until evening; then he will be clean.

And any person who eats an animal which dies or is torn by animals, whether he is a native or a stranger, shall wash his clothes and bathe in water, and remain unclean until evening; then he will become clean.

If you find something that’s already dead, don’t eat it. You can give it to an outsider living in any of your towns. They may eat it. Or you can sell it to someone from another country. But you are a holy nation. The Lord your God has set you apart for himself. Don’t cook a young goat in its mother’s milk.

“ I want you to be my holy people. So do not eat the meat of any animal that has been torn by wild animals. Throw it to the dogs.

He must not eat anything found dead or torn apart by wild animals. If he does, it will make him“ unclean.” I am the Lord.

Anyone who touches the man’s bed must wash their clothes. They must take a bath. They will be“ unclean” until evening.

If a person picks up one of their dead bodies, that person must wash their clothes. They will be“ unclean” until evening.

This law will apply to all those people for all time to come.“ The man who sprinkles the special water must also wash his clothes. Anyone who touches the water will be‘ unclean’ until evening.

Suppose someone touches any of the things that were under him. Then they will be“ unclean” until evening. Even if they pick up those things, they must wash their clothes. They must take a bath. They will be“ unclean” until evening.

I answered,“ Sir, you know.” He said,“ They are the ones who have come out of the time of terrible suffering. They have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

The man who is‘ clean’ must sprinkle those who are‘ unclean.’ That must be done on the third and seventh days. On the seventh day those who are‘ unclean’ must be made pure and‘ clean.’ Those being made‘ clean’ must wash their clothes. They must take a bath. Then that evening they will be‘ clean.’

Anyone who touches her bed must wash their clothes. They must take a bath. They will be“ unclean” until evening.

The priests must not eat any bird or animal that is found dead. They must not eat anything that wild animals have torn apart.

Then I said,“ No, Lord and King! I won’t do this! I’ve never eaten anything‘ unclean.’ From the time I was young until now, I’ve never eaten anything that was found dead. And I’ve never eaten anything torn apart by wild animals.‘ Unclean’ meat has never entered my mouth.”

The man who burns the young cow must wash his clothes. He must also take a bath. He too will be‘ unclean’ until evening.
