不可徇私枉法，不可偏袒窮人，不可諂媚權貴之人，要秉公審判。

不可偏私，不分貴賤，不懼情面，因為判決來自上帝。如果案件太難，可以交給我處理。

以下也是智者的箴言：判案時偏袒實為不善。

在秤重和度量時，不可騙人。

不可徇私枉法、偏心待人，收受賄賂，因為賄賂能蒙蔽智者的眼睛，使正直人顛倒是非。

「不可在訴訟案中冤枉窮人。不可誣告別人，不可殺害正直無辜的人，因為我必懲罰作惡之人。不可收受賄賂，因為賄賂蒙蔽人的眼目，使人顛倒是非。

不可隨眾行惡。在法庭作證時不可附和多數人，顛倒是非。在訴訟的事上不可偏袒窮人。

說：「你們不秉公行義，偏袒惡人要到何時呢？（細拉）

你們反倒侮辱窮人。其實欺壓你們、抓你們上法庭的不是那些富人嗎？不正是他們褻瀆你們所敬奉的尊名嗎？如果你們能切實行出聖經中「要愛鄰如己」這條至尊的律法，就好了。如果你們偏待人，嫌貧愛富，便是犯罪，律法要將你們定罪。

『不公正地對待寄居者和孤兒寡婦的必受咒詛！』全體民眾要回答說，『阿們！』

「你們做買賣時，口袋裡不可有一大一小兩種法碼，家裡也不可用一大一小兩種量器。你們必須誠實無欺，使用同樣的法碼和量器，以便在你們的上帝耶和華要賜給你們的土地上得享長壽。因為你們的上帝耶和華憎惡行事詭詐的人。

袒護惡人、冤枉義人都為不善。

對他們說：「你們辦事必須謹慎，因為你們不是為人而是為耶和華斷案，你們斷案的時候，耶和華必與你們同在。現在你們應當敬畏耶和華，謹慎辦事，因為我們的上帝耶和華毫無不義，不偏待人，不受賄賂。」

此外，要在百姓當中挑選一些敬畏上帝、有才幹、誠實、正直、憎惡不義之財的人，派他們做千夫長、百夫長、五十夫長和十夫長，管理百姓。
