“‘ Do not degrade your daughter by making her a prostitute, or the land will turn to prostitution and be filled with wickedness.

「以色列的女子中不可作神廟娼妓；以色列的男子中也不可作神廟娼妓。妓女和男娼的賞金，都不可帶進耶和華－你神的殿中還願，因為兩者都是耶和華－你神所憎惡的。

我的百姓求問木偶，以為木杖能指示他們；淫亂的心使他們失迷，以致行淫離棄他們的神，在各山頂獻祭，在各高岡上燒香，在橡樹、楊樹、大樹之下，因為那裏樹影美好。所以，你們的女兒行淫，你們的媳婦犯姦淫。我不因你們的女兒行淫或你們的媳婦犯姦淫懲罰她們；因為人自己轉去與娼妓同居，與神廟娼妓一同獻祭。這無知的百姓必致傾倒。

「祭司不可娶妓女，或被玷污的女人為妻，也不可娶被休的婦人為妻，因為他是歸神為聖的。

你們豈不知道你們的身體是基督的肢體嗎？我可以把基督的肢體作為娼妓的肢體嗎？絕對不可！
