凡有殘疾者、皆毋就近、即如瞽者、跛者、缺鼻者、四肢不齊者、

No man who has any defect may come near: no man who is blind or lame, disfigured or deformed;

No man who has any flaws can come near. No man who is blind or disabled can come. No man whose body is scarred or twisted can come.

For no one who has a blemish shall draw near, a man blind or lame, or one who has a mutilated face or a limb too long,

No one who has a defect qualifies, whether he is blind, lame, disfigured, deformed,

No man who has any defect is to come near: no man who is blind, lame, facially disfigured, or deformed;

For no one who has an impairment shall approach: a man who is blind, or one who limps, or one who has a slit nose, or one with any conspicuous feature,

For any man who has a defect shall not approach: a man blind or lame, who has a marred face or any limb too long,

For whatsoever man he be that hath a blemish, he shall not approach: a blind man, or a lame, or he that hath a flat nose, or anything superfluous,

他總要將牛、或綿羊、或山羊中、公的、完全沒有殘疾的獻上、才能蒙悅納。凡有殘疾的、你們不可獻上，因為這是不能給你們算為蒙悅納的。人若將牛羣或羊羣中的獻平安祭給永恆主，無論是要還特許的願、或是自願獻的，總要獻上純全的、完全沒有殘疾的、才能蒙悅納。瞎眼的、折傷的、殘廢的、患潰瘍的、長牛皮癬的、長疹瘡的：你們總不可把這一類祭牲獻與永恆主，也不可把這些作為火祭在祭壇上獻與永恆主。無論是公牛、是小綿羊、若肢體有餘的，或是發育受阻礙的，你只可以用牠做自願獻的；要做還願的、就不能蒙悅納。腎子受擠傷的、或是受砸碎、或拉掉、或騸了的、你們都不可獻與永恆主；在你們的地方以內、你們不可這樣行；由外人手裏收來的、你們也不可獻這一類祭牲做你們的上帝的食物；因為這些都有損壞、有殘疾，這些不能給你們算為蒙悅納的。」』

所以監督應當無可指摘，只做過一個婦人的丈夫，能節制、克己、雅素、樂意款待旅客、善於教導；不豪飲、不打人、卻溫和良善；不爭鬪、不貪愛銀錢；

『瞎眼的領路人哪，你們有禍啊！你們說：「凡指着殿堂起誓的，那算不了甚麼；惟獨指着殿堂裏的金子起誓的，就必須負責任。」傻子瞎子啊，甚麼是較大的？是金子呢？還是那使金子成聖別的殿堂呢？

瞎眼的人哪，甚麼是較大的？是禮物呢？還是那使禮物成聖別的壇呢？

監督做上帝的管家、應當無可指責、不任性、不暴躁、不豪飲、不打人、不貪可恥之財，

他並且必須在教外有好聲譽，免得掉在辱罵和魔鬼的網羅裏。

他的守望人是瞎眼的，都沒有知識；他們都是啞巴狗，不能叫喚；只是躺臥着，瞇瞇地睡，貪愛打盹。

有許多不服約束、好談虛妄事、欺騙人的人，尤其是那些受過割禮的人，
