神的食物，無論是聖的，或是至聖的，他都可以吃。

難道我們沒有權利靠着傳福音吃喝嗎？

你們豈不知在聖殿供職的人吃聖殿中的食物嗎？在祭壇伺候的人分享壇上的供物嗎？主也是這樣命令，要傳福音的人靠着福音養生。

這也是你的，以色列人所獻的舉祭和搖祭，我已賜給你和你的兒女，作為永遠當得的份；你家中任何潔淨的人都可以吃。凡最好的新油、最好的新酒和五穀，就是以色列人獻給耶和華的初熟之物，我都賜給你。凡他們從地上所帶來給耶和華的初熟之物也都要歸給你。你家中任何潔淨的人都可以吃。以色列中一切永獻的都必歸給你。他們所有奉給耶和華的，無論是人是牲畜，凡頭胎的，都要歸給你；但是人的長子，一定要贖出來。不潔淨牲畜中頭生的，也要贖出來。其中一個月以上所當贖的，要照你的估價，按聖所的舍客勒，付五舍客勒銀子將他贖回，一舍客勒是二十季拉。但是頭生的牛，或頭生的綿羊，或頭生的山羊，卻不可贖，因為牠們都是聖的。要把牠們的血灑在祭壇上，把牠們的脂肪焚燒，當作馨香的火祭獻給耶和華。牠們的肉必歸你，像被搖的胸、被舉的右腿歸你一樣。凡以色列人所獻給耶和華聖物中的舉祭，我都賜給你和你的兒女，作為永遠當得的份。這要成為你和你的後裔在耶和華面前永遠的鹽約。

祭司從百姓當得的權益是這樣：凡獻牛或羊為祭物的，要把前腿、兩腮和胃給祭司。初收的五穀、新酒和新的油，以及初剪的羊毛，也要給他。
