祭司要為以色列全會眾贖罪，他們就必蒙赦免，因為這是無心之過。他們要因自己的無心之過，把供物，就是向耶和華當獻的火祭和贖罪祭，帶到耶和華面前。

我們憑着這旨意，藉着耶穌基督，僅只一次獻上他的身體就得以成聖。所有的祭司天天站着事奉神，屢次獻上一樣的祭物，這祭物永不能除罪。但基督獻了一次永遠有效的贖罪祭，就坐在神的右邊，

祭司手掌裏剩下的油要抹在那求潔淨的人的頭上，祭司就在耶和華面前為他贖罪。

第二天，摩西對百姓說：「你們犯了大罪。我如今要上耶和華那裏去，或許可以為你們贖罪。」

這誤犯罪的人因無意中犯了罪，祭司要在耶和華面前為他贖罪，他就必蒙赦免。

所以，他凡事應當與他的弟兄相同，為要在神的事上成為慈悲忠信的大祭司，為百姓的罪獻上贖罪祭。

既然基督為我們成了詛咒，就把我們從律法的詛咒中贖出來。因為經上記着：「凡掛在木頭上的都是受詛咒的。」

並要為所犯的罪，把他的贖愆祭牲，就是羊羣中的一隻母綿羊或母山羊，獻給耶和華為贖罪祭，祭司要為他的罪贖了他。

不但如此，我們既藉着我們的主耶穌基督得以與神和好，也就藉着他以神為樂。

祭牲所有的脂肪都要燒在壇上，正如平安祭的脂肪一樣。祭司要為他的罪贖了他，他就蒙赦免。

他是神榮耀的光輝，是神本體的真像，常用他大能的命令托住萬有。他洗淨了人的罪，就坐在高天至大者的右邊。

何況基督的血，他藉着永遠的靈把自己無瑕疵地獻給神，更能洗淨我們的良心，除去致死的行為，好事奉那位永生的神。

婦人的能力若不足，無法獻一隻羔羊，她就要取兩隻斑鳩或兩隻雛鴿，一隻為燔祭，一隻為贖罪祭。祭司要為她贖罪，她就潔淨了。」

他要按手在燔祭牲的頭上，為自己贖罪，就蒙悅納。

「為你百姓和你聖城，已經定了七十個七，要止住罪過，除淨罪惡，贖盡罪孽，引進永恆的公義，封住異象和預言，並膏至聖所。

祭司要在耶和華面前為他贖罪；他無論做了甚麼事，以致有了罪，都必蒙赦免。」
