摩西把內臟所有的脂肪和肝上的網油，以及兩個腎與腎上的脂肪取出，都燒在壇上。至於公牛，連皮帶肉和糞，他都用火燒在營外，是照耶和華所吩咐摩西的。

從平安祭中，他要取脂肪當作火祭獻給耶和華，就是靠近脊骨處取下的整條肥尾巴，包着內臟的脂肪和內臟上所有的脂肪，兩個腎和腎上的脂肪，即靠近腎兩旁的脂肪，以及肝上的網油，連同腎一起取下。祭司要把這些燒在壇上，是獻給耶和華為食物的火祭。

耶和華的旨意要壓傷他，使他受苦。當他的生命作為贖罪祭時，他必看見後裔，他的年日必然長久。耶和華所喜悅的事，必在他手中亨通。

我兒啊，要將你的心歸我，你的眼目也要喜愛我的道路。

這一切是我手所造的，這一切就都存在了。我所看顧的是困苦、靈裏痛悔、因我言語而戰兢的人。這是耶和華說的。

上帝所要的祭就是憂傷的靈；上帝啊，憂傷痛悔的心，你必不輕看。

那至高無上、永遠長存、名為聖者的如此說：「我住在至高至聖的所在，卻與心靈痛悔的謙卑人同住；要使謙卑的人心靈甦醒，使痛悔的人內心復甦。

從平安祭中，他要把火祭獻給耶和華，就是包着內臟的脂肪和內臟上所有的脂肪，兩個腎和腎上的脂肪，即靠近腎兩旁的脂肪，以及肝上的網油，連同腎一起取下。亞倫的子孫要把這些擺在燒着火的柴上，燒在壇的燔祭上，是獻給耶和華為馨香的火祭。

祭司要用手指蘸一些贖罪祭牲的血，抹在燔祭壇的四個翹角上，再把其餘的血全倒在壇的底座上；又要把祭牲所有的脂肪都取下，正如取平安祭的羊的脂肪一樣。祭司要按獻給耶和華火祭的條例，把脂肪燒在壇上。祭司要為他所犯的罪贖了他，他就蒙赦免。」

又要取出這頭贖罪祭公牛所有的脂肪，就是包着內臟的脂肪和內臟上所有的脂肪，兩個腎和腎上的脂肪，即靠近腎兩旁的脂肪，以及肝上的網油，連同腎一起取下，正如從平安祭的牛身上所取的，祭司要把這些燒在燔祭壇上。但公牛的皮和所有的肉，以及頭、腿、內臟、糞，就是全公牛，要搬到營外清潔的地方倒灰之處，放在柴上用火焚燒。
