邪魔離人、游行旱地、求安而不得、乃曰、不如我仍歸所出之室、

邪魔既離人身、徘徊於無水之地、欲求安身之所而不可得、乃曰：「吾將返吾故宅。」

“ When an impure spirit comes out of a person, it goes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it. Then it says,‘ I will return to the house I left.’

“ What happens when an evil spirit comes out of a person? It goes through dry areas looking for a place to rest. But it doesn’t find it. Then it says,‘ I will return to the house I left.’

Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.

O God, you are my God; earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you; my flesh faints for you, as in a dry and weary land where there is no water.

And the Lord said to Satan,“ From where have you come?” Satan answered the Lord and said,“ From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking up and down on it.”

And when Jesus saw that a crowd came running together, he rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it,“ You mute and deaf spirit, I command you, come out of him and never enter him again.”

And he begged him earnestly not to send them out of the country.

“ There is no peace,” says the Lord,“ for the wicked.”

in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience—

For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour my Spirit upon your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants.

the burning sand shall become a pool, and the thirsty ground springs of water; in the haunt of jackals, where they lie down, the grass shall become reeds and rushes.

When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongue is parched with thirst, I the Lord will answer them; I the God of Israel will not forsake them.I will open rivers on the bare heights, and fountains in the midst of the valleys. I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water.I will put in the wilderness the cedar, the acacia, the myrtle, and the olive. I will set in the desert the cypress, the plane and the pine together,

The wilderness and the dry land shall be glad; the desert shall rejoice and blossom like the crocus;it shall blossom abundantly and rejoice with joy and singing. The glory of Lebanon shall be given to it, the majesty of Carmel and Sharon. They shall see the glory of the Lord, the majesty of our God.

But the wicked are like the tossing sea; for it cannot be quiet, and its waters toss up mire and dirt.There is no peace,” says my God,“ for the wicked.”

behold, I am laying a fleece of wool on the threshing floor. If there is dew on the fleece alone, and it is dry on all the ground, then I shall know that you will save Israel by my hand, as you have said.”And it was so. When he rose early next morning and squeezed the fleece, he wrung enough dew from the fleece to fill a bowl with water.Then Gideon said to God,“ Let not your anger burn against me; let me speak just once more. Please let me test just once more with the fleece. Please let it be dry on the fleece only, and on all the ground let there be dew.”And God did so that night; and it was dry on the fleece only, and on all the ground there was dew.

For they cannot sleep unless they have done wrong; they are robbed of sleep unless they have made someone stumble.

And he said to me,“ This water flows toward the eastern region and goes down into the Arabah, and enters the sea; when the water flows into the sea, the water will become fresh.And wherever the river goes, every living creature that swarms will live, and there will be very many fish. For this water goes there, that the waters of the sea may become fresh; so everything will live where the river goes.Fishermen will stand beside the sea. From Engedi to Eneglaim it will be a place for the spreading of nets. Its fish will be of very many kinds, like the fish of the Great Sea.But its swamps and marshes will not become fresh; they are to be left for salt.
