He said to the vine dresser,‘ Behold, these three years I have come looking for fruit on this fig tree, and found none. Cut it down. Why does it waste the soil?’

就对管园的说：‘看哪，我这三年来到这无花果树前找果子，竟找不着。把它砍了吧，何必白占地土呢！’

就对园丁说：‘看哪，我这三年来到这棵无花果树前找果子，竟找不到。把它砍了吧，何必白占土地呢？’

就对园丁说：‘看哪，我这三年来到这棵无花果树前找果子，竟找不到。把它砍了吧，何必白占土地呢？’

他对园丁说，‘三年来，我一直盼望它结果子，它却一个也没结。把它砍了，免得白占土地。’

他对管园的说：‘你看，这三年，我来到这棵无花果树那里找果子，却找不到，把它砍了吧！何必白占地土呢？’

就对园丁说：‘你看，一连三年，我在这无花果树上找果子，都找不到。把它砍了吧！何必让它白占土地？’

就對管園的說：『看哪，我這三年來到這無花果樹前找果子，竟找不着。把它砍了吧，何必白佔地土呢！』

就對園丁說：『看哪，我這三年來到這棵無花果樹前找果子，竟找不到。把它砍了吧，何必白佔土地呢？』

就對園丁說：『看哪，我這三年來到這棵無花果樹前找果子，竟找不到。把它砍了吧，何必白佔土地呢？』

他對園丁說，『三年來，我一直盼望它結果子，它卻一個也沒結。把它砍了，免得白佔土地。』

就對葡萄園工說：「你看，我來、在這無花果樹上找果子、卻找不着，已經三年了。把它砍了吧；何必讓它白佔地土呢？」

就對園丁說：『你看，一連三年，我在這無花果樹上找果子，都找不到。把它砍了吧！何必讓它白占土地？』

語園丁曰、我來求果於此樹者三年矣、而弗得、宜斫之、何為曠此土乎、

語園丁曰、我三年來、求果弗得、不如斫之、無使曠土、

語園丁曰、我三年來求果於此無花果樹、不得、不如伐之、何為任其佔此土乎、

爰謂園丁曰：「予於此樹求實三載、卒無所得、不如斫之、何曠土為。」

So he said to the man who took care of the vineyard,‘ For three years now I’ve been coming to look for fruit on this fig tree and haven’t found any. Cut it down! Why should it use up the soil?’

So he went to the man who took care of the vineyard. He said,‘ For three years now I’ve been coming to look for fruit on this fig tree. But I haven’t found any. Cut it down! Why should it use up the soil?’

And he said to the vinedresser,‘ Look, for three years now I have come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and I find none. Cut it down. Why should it use up the ground?’

Finally, he said to his gardener,‘ I’ve waited three years, and there hasn’t been a single fig! Cut it down. It’s just taking up space in the garden.’

He told the vineyard worker,‘ Listen, for three years I have come looking for fruit on this fig tree and haven’t found any. Cut it down! Why should it even waste the soil?’

And he said to the vineyard keeper,‘ Look! For three years I have come looking for fruit on this fig tree without finding any. Cut it down! Why does it even use up the ground?’

Then he said to the keeper of his vineyard,‘ Look, for three years I have come seeking fruit on this fig tree and find none. Cut it down; why does it use up the ground?’

And he said unto the vinedresser, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why doth it also cumber the ground?

He told the vineyard worker,‘ Listen, for three years I have come looking for fruit on this fig tree and haven’t found any. Cut it down! Why should it even waste the soil?’

Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground?

So he said to the worker who tended the vineyard,‘ For three years now, I have come looking for fruit on this fig tree, and each time I inspect it I find none. Cut it down! Why should it continue to deplete the soil?’

Every tree that doesn’t grow good fruit is cut down, and thrown into the fire.

Even now the ax also lies at the root of the trees. Every tree therefore that doesn’t produce good fruit is cut down, and thrown into the fire.”

Or do you despise the riches of his goodness, forbearance, and patience, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?But according to your hardness and unrepentant heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath, revelation, and of the righteous judgment of God;

If a man doesn’t remain in me, he is thrown out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them, throw them into the fire, and they are burned.

Don’t think to yourselves,‘ We have Abraham for our father,’ for I tell you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones.“ Even now the ax lies at the root of the trees. Therefore every tree that doesn’t produce good fruit is cut down, and cast into the fire.

Now therefore leave me alone, that my wrath may burn hot against them, and that I may consume them; and I will make of you a great nation.”

Every branch in me that doesn’t bear fruit, he takes away. Every branch that bears fruit, he prunes, that it may bear more fruit.

He cried aloud, and said this,‘ Cut down the tree, and cut off its branches! Shake off its leaves, and scatter its fruit! Let the animals get away from under it, and the fowls from its branches.

then I will command my blessing on you in the sixth year, and it shall bear fruit for the three years.

“‘ When you come into the land, and have planted all kinds of trees for food, then you shall count their fruit as forbidden. For three years it shall be forbidden to you. It shall not be eaten.
