Jesus said to his disciples:“ Things that cause people to stumble are bound to come, but woe to anyone through whom they come.

Jesus spoke to his disciples.“ Things that make people sin are sure to come,” he said.“ But how terrible it will be for anyone who causes those things to come!

And he said to his disciples,“ Temptations to sin are sure to come, but woe to the one through whom they come!

One day Jesus said to his disciples,“ There will always be temptations to sin, but what sorrow awaits the person who does the tempting!

He said to his disciples,“ Offenses will certainly come, but woe to the one through whom they come!

Now He said to His disciples,“ It is inevitable that stumbling blocks come, but woe to one through whom they come!

Then He said to the disciples,“ It is impossible that no offenses should come, but woe to him through whom they do come!

And he said unto his disciples, It is impossible but that occasions of stumbling should come; but woe unto him, through whom they come!

He said to His disciples,“ Offenses will certainly come, but woe to the one they come through!

Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe[ unto him], through whom they come!

Jesus said to his disciples,“ Stumbling blocks are sure to come, but woe to the one through whom they come!

He said to the disciples,“ It is impossible that no occasions of stumbling should come, but woe to him through whom they come!

Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to stumble! Such things must come, but woe to the person through whom they come! (niv)

No doubt there have to be differences among you to show which of you have God’s approval. (niv)

Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in the way of a brother or sister. (niv)

I urge you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them. (niv)

Therefore, if what I eat causes my brother or sister to fall into sin, I will never eat meat again, so that I will not cause them to fall. (niv)

Do not destroy the work of God for the sake of food. All food is clean, but it is wrong for a person to eat anything that causes someone else to stumble.It is better not to eat meat or drink wine or to do anything else that will cause your brother or sister to fall. (niv)

Jesus turned and said to Peter,“ Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns.” (niv)

Do not cause anyone to stumble, whether Jews, Greeks or the church of God— (niv)

and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lieand so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness. (niv)

Because of the signs it was given power to perform on behalf of the first beast, it deceived the inhabitants of the earth. It ordered them to set up an image in honor of the beast who was wounded by the sword and yet lived.The second beast was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that the image could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed.It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads,so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name.This calls for wisdom. Let the person who has insight calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. That number is 666. (niv)

Nevertheless, I have a few things against you: There are some among you who hold to the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to entice the Israelites to sin so that they ate food sacrificed to idols and committed sexual immorality. (niv)

Nevertheless, I have this against you: You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophet. By her teaching she misleads my servants into sexual immorality and the eating of food sacrificed to idols. (niv)
