此異族人之外、未見返而歸榮上帝者、

此異民之外、未見反而歸榮上帝者也、

此異族人外、何未見一人返而歸榮天主者乎、

自此異邦人而外、豈更無其他返而歸榮天主者乎？』

Were there none found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger?

But giving thanks is a sacrifice that truly honors me. If you keep to my path, I will reveal to you the salvation of God.”

“ Fear God,” he shouted.“ Give glory to him. For the time has come when he will sit as judge. Worship him who made the heavens, the earth, the sea, and all the springs of water.”

When Jesus heard this, he was amazed. Turning to those who were following him, he said,“ I tell you the truth, I haven’t seen faith like this in all Israel!

Then Jesus said to the woman,“ I was sent only to help God’s lost sheep— the people of Israel.”But she came and worshiped him, pleading again,“ Lord, help me!”Jesus responded,“ It isn’t right to take food from the children and throw it to the dogs.”She replied,“ That’s true, Lord, but even dogs are allowed to eat the scraps that fall beneath their masters’ table.”“ Dear woman,” Jesus said to her,“ your faith is great. Your request is granted.” And her daughter was instantly healed.

Let the whole world glorify the Lord; let it sing his praise.

Yet how quickly they forgot what he had done! They wouldn’t wait for his counsel!

But many Israelites— those for whom the Kingdom was prepared— will be thrown into outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

“ So those who are last now will be first then, and those who are first will be last.”

But many who are the greatest now will be least important then, and those who seem least important now will be the greatest then.

Honor the Lord, you heavenly beings; honor the Lord for his glory and strength.Honor the Lord for the glory of his name. Worship the Lord in the splendor of his holiness.
